The TOPKNOT Dog Tie Out Cable and Stake for Camping is a reliable solution for keeping your furry friend safe and secure outdoors. The 360° swivel design ensures that your dog has plenty of freedom to roam without getting tangled, and the 30FT heavy-duty cable provides ample room to explore. The rust-proof construction and sturdy stake give me peace of mind knowing that my dog is safely contained while camping or spending time in the yard. However, despite the innovative design, I've found that my dog still manages to get tangled up occasionally, especially if he's particularly active. Overall, while it's not completely foolproof, the TOPKNOT Dog Tie Out Cable and Stake is a convenient and effective option for outdoor use, providing a sense of security and peace of mind for pet owners on the go.

I hate having to tie my dogs out and hate when people do it for a long time but I had surgery to where I could not take them out and this solved my problems. This was an absolute lifesaver. We secured this to concrete so I am not sure how the soil stakes work but on my concrete patio it works amazingly well!

I have two dogs one is a 70 pound basset hound and the other is a 50 pound to 60 pound shepherd lab mix. My parents don’t have a fenced in yard so I am using it while the dogs go outside so they have a little bit of freedom to run around and I don’t have to be right there with the leash. I set up both of them on this unit and I was really impressed with how well it hold with them playing and running and trying to chase things. It stayed in the ground. Unlike the twist down ones that my dogs by themselves could just rip it straight out of the ground, I was very happy with that. I did have to give it only four stars because after about a month, my basset hound was able to break his cord. The coding on the cord was broke off, and then I guess wire rubbing on wired it finally snapped. But I was impressed with the fact that I had both of them on the same unit and they did not get tangled up around each other. I would buy again.

I ordered this tie out for my one year old 50 lb pitbull/German Shepard mix puppy to use during our first camping trip with her. I wanted a 360 tie out as she has an ungodly skill of getting herself tangled up in her tie outs and not getting untied. This tie out worked perfectly! We absolutely loved it and as it was a temporary setup I only used two of the included stakes for the tie out, and it lasted all weekend in the ground without moving even with a big puller! I love this tie out and will be using it at home and purchasing another! I was able to switch the setup of the tie out multiple ways throughout the weekend and was even able to create a run with it with her leash! I promise you won't regret purchasing for your dog!!

The stake itself is incredibly sturdy and is pretty amazing. You would have to have something a lot stronger than a dog to pull it out of the ground and I like the swivel aspect to it. My problem is the cable chain it comes with. The cable itself is pretty strong and heavy duty but the clamp comes open way too easily to hold anything that moves. It kind of has a keychain carabiner clamp that doesn't take much pressure to open. My dog escaped twice because of it. The first time the clamp on her collar came open so I fixed that issue by reinforcing with another hook, the second time the clamp attached to the stake came undone. I was fed up so I'm just using a different cable which means more money spent. Also the cable kept curling up and twisting for some reason which was a nuisance. If there is a stake only option I would choose it and buy your own cable.

Works amazing. My dog is a 60lb Staffordshire Terrier, but let me tell you she is all muscle and very strong. She has broken two other cables, once she broke a clasp and once she bent a stake. I got this one because it had great reviews and it did not disappoint. As long as you put it in the ground with thick enough dirt, it holds extremely well. She just tried chasing a cat again and ran full force, and she got safely yanked back. All of the clasps and in ground stake didn't even budge. I'm so thankful I got this!! 10/10

I'm on the fence with this one. I did have to purchase a new tether after 2 days. My 65lb 3yo, pitt/ cane Corso jerked the one it came with and the clip and cable snapped. Upsetting. I nearly returned it but.... it was easy to install and it does rotate well. I'd have preferred to pay less for having to purchase another cable over this price for any part of it that breaks. This did not hold a 100lb pull, AT ALL.For the ground and instal, I have not tried to move it so I can't vouche for moveability. It hammered in fairly well for my ground. I do have Alabama clay in areas and it can be difficult but I think that plays into it not coming out on its own. Does it stay in, solidly, NOPE. I check it regularly, couple days to pushes the bolts back down. I check it after rains for certain. With all that, it's a give and take. I would not leave my dog out for long hours where she tries to jump, chase, or catch the squirrels and opposums. But for camping, travel, parks and to not be used for a strictly outside dog, it's good and works. For my dog who is a indoor dog and has a thing for chasing cats who get in her yard, I'm on guard. She's checked on and never left out overnight or long hours. With a little extra info, she has broken a few cables and runner clips from poor quality. So far this is holding up with the replacement cable I purchased separately. And it's getting cold out now so ill have to watch how that effects it. Bring your dogs in, they are much more loyal, loved.

I really like how the wire does not tangle as it is flush basically with the ground. The only issue I came up with are the beaners provided. The dog unclipped himself from the ground and from his neck. They should provide a solid D ring for the ground and a good brass standard clip for the neck.Otherwise the the ground concept is great.I use it for a 70lb puppy Bernadoodle. He is not hard on the cable as he knows it is there
