Looks like real wood on top. Sturdy and holds files well. About 2 hours to assemble,but not difficult Will look much better than the metal file cabinets I was using. Recommend this highly

It was easy to put together and looks very nice. One of the reasons I bought this piece was because it was on wheels so I could move it when needed. Unfortunately once the drawers are filled it doesn't move very well and one of the wheels keeps coming off completely.

It was easy to put together and looks very nice. One of the reasons I bought this piece was because it was on wheels so I could move it when needed. Unfortunately once the drawers are filled it doesn't move very well and one of the wheels keeps coming off completely.
