This honestly worked way better than I expected it to, with some caveats. It was super easy and quick to make ramen in, and then to scramble a couple eggs in, and super easy to clean up. The bottom heated up fast and the sides didn't get hot.When I tried making something a bit more bulky with vegetables and dry lentils, it took a little longer for the heat to permeate through, and in doing so the sides did also get quite warm. The lid is pretty basic and doesn't perfectly seal into place, to the point that as the veggies and lentils were simmering, some of the condensation on the underside of the lid leaked out and down the outside of the pot. This may be less of an issue if the pot is 100% leveled, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan to do longer boiling/cooking with the lid on.The main con for me is that there is no provided protection for where you attach the cord. I have an even smaller portable rice cooker, and it has an attached rubber cover to protect the power inlet. While unplugged, there's nothing to protect this one from getting wet should you accidentally spill some water down the side. The power knob also sticks out quite far and seems like it would be easy to accidentally nudge to high power or off if you're not careful.Those cons aside, this is a handy little pot that makes it easy to cook simple and easy meals for one or two people in a small space. You can really get creative with it if you have a little cooking know-how.

I love chinese pot stickers, dumplings,so I ordered this hot pot with a steaming bowl attached. I absolutely love the pot and it functions great in steaming all of the frozen pot stickers in mins. I add garlic,onion powder, salt, pepper and avacoata oil and mix well, cook as directed on packaging of pot stickers. They always turn out delicious. I use a chinese dipping sauce also. I totally recommend this pot for this purpose.

I LIKE THE COLOR BLACK FOR THIS POT. IT WORKS WELL FOR QUICK WARM-UPS AND I APPRECIATE IT HAS TWO SETTINGS. ALSO, EASYTO CLEAN

I ordered the Topwit Hot Pot to prepare soups and ramen dishes with little to no stove use, and it didn't disappoint.The basics: there's a power switch which, when flipped left, is low power and, when flipped right, is high power. There's also a lid and power cord. On the hot setting with the cover on, this pot heated two cups of water to boiling in about 3-4 minutes. Once heated, drop the power level to low to keep the water simmering.This style of pot is meant for both cooking and eating. You can make 1-2 realistically sized servings in it and then take them to your table or desk, or just take them with you for eating in front of the TV, which is exactly the reason I ordered this.It works, heats up fast, and does what is intended. Five stars.
