I like a breeze, and white noise from a fan while sleeping. I replaced my old fan with this one and am already impressed.IMPORTANT:One thing to note, based on the diagrams in the manual, the blades are attached with the securing screw on the back side of the fins. If you install it backward (like I did at first), it’s a LOT louder. The rounded edge of the fins should be (unintuitively) pointing counter clockwise, even though they rotate clockwise.This is not a quiet fan. But most fans produce a fair amount of noise if you really want to cool down. And like I mentioned, I like the white noise, and it moves more air on low, than my old one did on high.DETAILS:On low, it moves WAY more air than my old fan did (on high), and is only slightly louder than the old one was (on high). If this fan is turned up to high, you better make sure everything in the room is tied down.My old one was all plastic, this one is all metal. Very good quality. I like that the motor is pretty much enclosed. The old one failed because of too much dust collecting inside it. I got a few more years out of it by oiling it before it completely seized up. I’m sure ultimately the oil attracted more dirt in the long run. I’ll update this review if I find a good way to lubricate the bearings on this one without causing premature wear, or if anything unexpected happens.Out of the box, on low, after fixing the blade direction, it had enough torque to pivot the head upward. Tightening the bolt down on the head pivot solved this issue.This fan looks sharp, and performs better than I had hoped. It’s good to find a quality product in today’s market.

This fan is great, & I wish we had it a few weeks ago when the temps were SUPER HOT but, its nice to know we now have something like this on hand for when those times come again. Assembly was pretty easy, just needed a Philips head screwdriver, and patience. Its very powerful on the “Low†setting. To the point that it has to be a certain distance away from you, or it could actually start to hurt your eyelids. (🤔 From them flapping up so much. 🤣 “I’m not even playing.â€) It could be used as a workshop fan even though it’s on the smaller side, and if you place this in front of a mini-a/c unit or vent? It’ll get that cold air where you want it to go, very fast! The price point was “Ok†could’ve been better, but it could’ve been worse too. The fan motor that the unit comes with, is pretty good! It was the first thing I noticed putting it together. There were a few broken boxes inside of the main box from shipping? But nothing was damaged, not even a scratch on the main parts. It’s a metal fan blade, spinning pretty fast, inside of a fully contained metal cage. This combination, gives off the sound of a hornet’s nest or bee’s nest near by. So it might not be the ideal fan to have next to a bed, given the human’s natural response to a Hornet’s Nest being next to their bed. If that’s what you were thinking of using it for? Might wanna make sure you’re built for that kind of sleep. Just wanna say, “Thanks to all those who helped keep things cool here!†Hope this helped.

These fans are amazing. I have four of them. I have no air conditioning in my home and it can get very hot in here and these fans definitely push and circulate air very well definitely worth the money.

Fan was fairly easy to put together; instructions were just a diagram. No big deal though but I originally put the blades on backwards. I used the fan for a few days and wasn't happy with performance plus it was super loud. I planned to take it back but I said let me reverse the blades. Wow, what a difference, twice the air flow and now half the noise. For those on the other reviews that say it’s too loud, they may have done the same as me. Base is pretty heavy for a reason, if it wasn't, on high setting it might blow it itself backwards. Make sure the screw is on the back side of the blade when installing.

We love this fan. Even though it’s been in the upper 90’s for the past few weeks we have not missed an evening sitting on our deck with this fan blowing. It puts out great air even on low!! We haven’t even turned it on any other speed.Only downside is it is a little loud.However the performance out ways the noise.Highly recommend!

Keeps my upstairs cool. However it is so loud we must close all doors to hear the Tv.. Easy to assemble except I couldn’t figure out how to tighten the fan to the stand, therefor it just sits on the stand. The fan turns around completely I think it is so cool but the cord wraps around the pole with the turning of the fan. 3 stars for noise and assembly otherwise pretty cool fan

Let me tell you, if this fan had wings itwould fly! Very powerful motor, moves ALOT of air around. Built very well. Very Sturdy. Overall a good fan. Noise level was surprisingly lower than expected.
