Great build quality but now the chain is too short and now I must order a length of additional chain

Got this to put a Torque converter on my 212cc swapped ct100u. this did allow me to install the tc and test it out. unfortunately it raises the engine up too high for me to continue using my ct200u style gas take with the offset fill hole that clears the frame. after a bit I ended up removing this to modify my frame to be able to mount the engine lower. this is designed to be used on a ct200u which has a taller frame and i went out on a limb to try something out and while it did work it wasn't what I was going for in the long term. Its beefy, like really beefy and constructed very well. Overall a great product!

The effect is good and easy to install, which makes my 212 engine 1.61 inches higher and easier to pass over non-paved roads

I've purchased 2 of these engine riser plates now from 2 different vendors and I swear to God it's the same guy some where in China welding these 2 plates together for a plethura of different brand companies. What they seem to have in common though is super lousy quality control standards and poor workmanship standards.I am a trained welder by trade so alignment issues prior to tacking anything together should always be front and center for any welder prior to striking that first arc. Both of the engine risers that I've had,had the top plate welded on crooked in relation to squareness of the bottom plate. This places the engine off of center and sitting crooked in relation to the squareness of the bottom plate and it's 4 CNC cut mounting slots/holes.How hard is it to square something up,tack it check it again and proceed to lay in your final weld passed. The first one got sent back for a refund thinking maybe I got a fluke one possibly and second time around is the charm?Uh huh!,This second riser plate from Oldriver is getting cut apart by me and the alignment issue being properly rectified and put to rest. This is just pure garbage when you have to constantly fiddle with and compensate for poor QC standards and workmanship. These should have never left the shop floor until the alignment/fitment was 100 percent spot on.Isn't that what we are paying full price for.Hence the no excuses 1 star review. The truth hurts sometimes.
