After dealing with my floor jack handle constantly falling to the floor for at least the last decade, I finally got smart and decided to fix it. Should have done this years ago. Seems to be pretty much an exact replacement part for my particular floor jack. I ended up using two 1/4†nut drivers with deep well sockets on them to compress the spring together and hold it with one hand while putting the bolt back in the floor jack. This procedure went really easy compared to some other methods I’ve seen online. Very happy with the result

The spring is not as strong as the original spring. The spring does hold up the handle but not as good as the original spring.
