I bought this case for my clarinet after i bought a new one because the case it came with was very big and bulky. This case is just average, but it has lasted me a long time and I have no complaints. It zips easily, and works very well. I purchased a new barrel a while ago, and it didn't quite fit in the hole for it so I took the plastic part out and it fit just fine. I would recommend this case.

Good case for my middle school son. Very lightweight and easy to carry with the shoulder strap. The clarinet fits securely. It would be nice to have a bit more room in the storage compartment since he uses a neck strap... But most will fine with the room for the swab and reeds. My biggest complaint is the smell. It smells strongly of plastic/chemicals. If you have time to set it outside to offgas for a week you'll be fine!

All my clarinet pieces fit perfectly in the pre cut foam. Seems sturdy light weight case.

I bought this as a secondary case for my daughter. She has another case that's similar and much more sturdy, so she uses this one to keep her off season clarinet in, either her wood or plastic depending on the high school band season. She doesn't carry it to school.This case feels cheap. It's decently made I suppose but would likely not hold up to years of teenagers carrying it back and forth to school. It's perfectly fine for our purposes of keeping the clarinet safe at home. Plenty of storage for swab, cork grease, and reeds but that's about it. Adequate amount of padding.If you need an okay case to keep a clarinet in, you aren't going to cart it all over town, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is your case. If you're getting a replacement case for your 7th grader and want it to last all through high school, probably better to get something a little nicer though this is a great style of case to own.

My kid started band this school year and was using her school's old heavy clunky case with only a set of handles, and it was getting too much for her to carry to and from every day in additionto her rolling backpack. This bag was a great price and so light. It is easy for her to sling over her shoulder and has kept her instrument safe on rainy days. Worth the purchase, even if she stops playing clarinet in the future.
