I purchased this for a recent trip to London. It folds up nicely and is compact for traveling. It seems very sturdy. We really didn't encounter windy conditions but the umbrella feels like it would hold up well to wind. Overall, it is a great choice if you are looking for a compact, sturdy umbrella.

I will start this by admitting that I live in beautiful, sunny San Diego. It rarely rains. The weather changes so infrequently that I don’t even bother paying attention to the forecast. Which is why this little guy comes in handy. Its small, ultra-compact frame makes it easy to just toss in my bag so that it is always with me in the unlikely event a rain shower pops up. I work in the city and often have to park and walk several blocks as part of my commute. Even if it happens infrequently, getting stuck in an impromptu rainstorm can really ruin a day. Having this little “just in case†umbrella helps keep me dry and my days unruined.

This umbrella is strong, folds to a nice small size, and automatically opens with a button. It can take a bit of muscle to fold back up and was a bit pricy for what it is.

This one replicates an umbrella I have already owned for many years but am afraid will wear out or get stolen or lost. My old one is the same brand and the new one is equally easy to close and stow in my purse. Two umbrellas I received as gifts opened nicely but were far too difficult to close again. Even though I lift weights, I'd rather not injure my hands wrestling an umbrella, particularly if its outside my car door in the rain.

I have only used these a couple times and they are already broken. One won't go up and the other won't go down. I bought them because of the Totes name, thinking they would last. Used to be, I'd lose mine it broke.

Smaller SUV allows less space for storage so this smaller umbrella is fine. Easy to operate. Substantial construction. Does not over flex in the wind.

I loved it, a little larger than my normal size, only down side is, I have noticed the stitching has come off one of the tips.

Very sorry to inform that totally poor quality product of different brand was delivered to me. There is no automatic open and close facility. Material used is also very poor quality.
