the Goesmo is easy to setup and works well. I have trouble at public restrooms with the sensors not detecting my hands, and i have not run into that issue yet with this touchless faucet. I like that i can set the temperature and it will stay that way. just not, the first person will need to wait for the water to cycle out the pipes before it actually reaches the desired temperature. I have noticed less water stains on the faucet from using the motion sensor.

Installed mine in Aug. broke at end of Jan. Thought I might get lucky and get a good one, but wrong. Do not recommend.

Update: Raised to 2 stars from 1. The battery housing seems to be wonky and finicky. I may need to request a replacement on warranty. Anyway, I did get the control box to work (now that power from the batteries is making its way) and it works as expected. It will take some getting used to how this operates for different workflows such as brushing my teeth. On that note, the faucet does stick out _far_ into my basin and I’m not sure if I’m going to adjust to liking that fact. Also, I should note, in the box there was a replacement sink drain with pop-up stopper in the package. The inclusion of this is not mentioned anywhere but is very helpful as many will be replacing a faucet with a pull for the drain stopper. NB: Be sure to line up the overflow opening of the drain with the opening in the sink! The faucet is manufactured by Harda Group; It's not clear if GOESMO is rebranding this or doing badge engineering or something else. The deck plate is plastic and the foam washer around its perimeter is slightly too short by about 1.5mm. There is no key to line up the faucet and the deck plate which is unfortunate. The quick-connect outlet hose is WAY TO SHORT! The control box thus must be mounted upside down, or perhaps sideways at best, and the documentation even shows it such in all the drawings; this means that the mounting hole for the control box is useless. The plastic mounting nut opens for quicker installation but could lead to easy stripping of the threads on the plastic if clamped to the brass metal of the faucet out of alignment. The center hole in my vanity was too narrow so I needed to pull out a Dremel and a chisel to widen it for the faucet body. Once everything was connected and installed the faucet only operated manually. I could not get the control box to activate the solenoid despite an hour of various troubleshooting steps; reseated all connections, verified voltage from battery holder, tested manual and automatic nob in On and Off positions multiple times. It's dead, Jim. I recommend living long and prospering with a different faucet than this one unless you enjoy frustration and overspending.

I installed this in the bathroom of a commercial building I own, replacing an older automatic faucet that stopped working. I had a plumber install it to make sure it was done right and it worked perfectly for the first six or seven weeks and since then the automatic feature doesn't work quite as well, you have to basically wave your hand a couple times to get it to come on--it always does but initially the water flowed just by putting your hand in front of the sensor. I'm overall satisfied, it looks good and does work if albeit not perfectly, so a good but not great replacement faucet.
