I can get mountains of hair out with this brush in about half the time it takes with a regular round curry or single shedding blade. I had one (not sure of the brand) for years and years and it finally broke so I got this as a replacement. This design is amazing. Works well on the double-coated dog also!

I bought this for my dog, who sheds every season... 24/7, as it was recommended to me and it works great! The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars is because it’s super “pointy†and could scratch them, as I found scab marks from the product so don’t apply to much pressure (I barely apply pressure and it still gets a lot of hair from the undercoat). But ever since I’ve barely applied pressure I haven’t found anymore scabs and my dog enjoys the good pampering.

...which admittedly may or may not be helpful. Oh well.I've used curry combs on horses for many years, I'm sure this particular one works well for that. However, I am using it to sculpt foam. Curry combs are a great tool for shaping polystyrene foam for sculpts, costume elements, props, lawn decorations and whatever you decide to make. The design of this tool allows for easy and efficient material removal. You'll enjoy making a raging snowy mess. Wear a particle mask and have fun.
