I purchased this for riding my bicycle to work. It helps keep my face warm and my ears, HOWEVER, it is a bit difficult to breathe, although it's designed for a motorcycle or something where you're not exerting as much effort. I'm still using it, but I had to adjust how I breathe, which is fine. I would STILL recommend this even to a bicyclist because of the dramatic difference between not having it and having it. I'm not sure how it will do in the super cold, but it will be better than not having it.It seems a bit large originally, BUT, the size is helpful in permitting the air to escape through the seal around your face. Overall, I like the design, it's comfortable, and it's warm.UPDATE: After using this for a couple months, I would definitely recommend for a bicycle rider. It works well, keeps my ears and face warm and easy to wash/care for.

I have have a 7-1/2 to 7-5/8 “hatband†size (23-1/2 inches), and this ski mask fits well and works very well to prevent wind from penetrating when I ride my bike downhill on cold days. My glasses do fog up wear the mask when I am standing still, but the air flow when I am moving prevents this. Also, I wish the neck in front were a bit longer, but it does tuck down into my jacket and I haven’t gotten a cold spot there yet, so no problem. Overall a great design as it is something I can quickly put on and take off without having to mess with taking off my helmet and liner. Also - there was a mix-up when they listed this together on the same page with the full balaclava -- I ordered the full balaclava by mistake and they just told me to keep it with a refund, and I ordered this instead! Can’t beat that for customer service!!!

I ordered this because I live in Minnesota where the winters can, frankly, SUCK and I take public transportation. Standing out at a -10 degree bus stop for twenty minutes is no joke. The mask is warm and fits well. The velcro closure at the back can be a bit fiddly but that's going to be an issue with any product of this nature. Also, if you have long hair like I do be careful as the velcro can catch in your hair. There's a moderate smell of neoprene when you first get it but a couple hits of Febreeze and a few hours airing out fixes that. If you wear glasses you're going to experience some fogging but you'll get that with a scarf too. I like the design as well. I do wish the company offered a wider range of styles in that respect. Overall this is a solid product that does what it's supposed to. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to keep their face warm under winter conditions.

These types of masks have been my favorite for years as their shape let's them hug your face tightly enough to prevent wind from getting under them and the holes & nose flap allow you to both breath and speak unimpeded.People unfamiliar or sensitive to that "new neoprene" smell should leave the mask out in the open for a while to let it out-gas before wearing.

I have to modified it to make it work. It's way toooooo big for me. Fortunately this thing can cut so I cut it to the point that I can turn my head freely and sewed button to the back so it not gonna flapping around since the velcro tap was too short on one side. Very thick material not sure it's good or bad because it has to sits underneath my ski goggles only at the bottom part. I have another brand that thinner I'd prefer that. Also it has rubber smell so bad but it doesn't smell when wearing it.

The Velcro is too short and you cannot tight up around your neck.The nose hole is useless because it is too small. You cannot breathe through that small hole and your hot breath air will push up into your Goggle and will fog up your Goggle.100% very bad design

j'ai du couper un grand trou au niveau nez pour diminuer la buée dans mes lunettes. très étanche contre le froids en moto, je ne le ressens pas
