This is a quality, well made towing/recovery strap. I have a 2023 Ram 1500 Bighorn/Lonestar crew cab 4x4, and I often take it out to the beaches, the jetties, the woods, the swamps, and the mountains. I’m OCD about having a set of tools on hand in case I get myself into a situation; situations such as dead batteries, flat tires, stuck tires, low air pressure, etcetera. So I keep a trunk organizer in one of my back seats that's full of gear that can do just that, and get me out of many of those unfortunate and (typically) unforeseeable situations. The advertised measurements of 20’ x 4†are true-to-size. The loop ends are thick, dense, and strong. The strap webbing is stitched and run consistently throughout the entire thing. It is incredibly dense and compact for how thin it is. Puncturing it with anything would be quite a task. Despite this, it coils up very neatly and in a compact manner, so it really doesn’t take up much of that valuable space in my trunk organizer; it has roughly a 9†x 8†footprint.The color is much nicer in person. I love the seafoam green-esque color. It’s more than capable of pulling my truck out if needed, along with others should I happen upon someone in need of a tow.I would like to thank Amazon for allowing me to be a part of their Vine program. My reviews are unbiased, honest, and sincere in an effort to provide you (the customer) with the information you may need in choosing this product or not, and I hope that is what my review accomplishes for you.I would also like to thank the seller “Partner Co., Ltd.†for providing me this product as an Amazon Vine member. I look very forward to owning it and it will be getting plenty of use and exposure to other potential buyers throughout its life with me. Thanks again and I wish you success in your endeavors.

As someone who drives regularly on low maintenance country roads in all kinds of weather conditions up here in the tundra, there have been several times when I was glad that I had a tow rope with me. Most of the ropes I have are low-grade though and not heavy duty like this one. It says that it will pull over 28,000 lbs so that's more than enough for my SUV. Hopefully I will never need to find out how well this works (unless I use it to help someone else out) but if you live in an area that experiences a lot of snowy and icy road conditions, a tow strap like this is a nice safety piece for you to carry in your vehicle. It also comes in a nice storage bag so it won't take up a lot of noise and even though I wish it had metal hooks at the ends instead of the loops (deleted 1-star because of this), it will mean that it will be that much quieter when driving because there is no metal to clank around in the vehicle with this tow strap.

I have yet to have to tow anything with this strap, let alone anywhere near its stated capacity limit. That said, you can tell a lot about a product like this by looking at details and prior experience with other products. I've had to tow vehicles (and other big, heavy things) in several countries and varying conditions, such as mud, deep sand, concrete roads, and up/down situations. The web/weave on this is what I would expect. It's not nearly as dense or tight as a seat belt strap, but it reminds of of that type of pattern. It has something I am not used to seeing with tow straps, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it was smart. Each end of the strap has a neoprene-like covering that provides the eyelet through which you might the bumper or tow hook. Whether this neoprene-like cover will hold up to much abuse is not much of a concern because unless you use a tow strap commercially, you will use it occasionally. For those times you do use it, you have removed the risk of scratching up the vehicle on either side. This is something you will likely be using infrequently, so it's an ideal strap to keep in the back of your car or truck. The working load limit on this strap is listed as 9,500 lbs.Given that there is some margin on the high end (it lists its break strength as 28,000 lbs), this will cover most any passenger vehicle or personal truck. Most passenger cars are around 4,000 lbs (roughly 2 tons), so you should be okay with this. An average F150 (without a loaded bed) is between 4,000 - 6,000 lbs.It came in a nice box, but better yet, it came with a nice bag. I plan to put this in the back of my van along with some other emergency equipment.

This thing is massive. I really, really wanted to give it a higher rating, but a few things about it irritate me. First, the Working Load Limit and Break Strength are advertised on the website, but not anywhere on the strap itself, leading me to wonder if its actually been properly tested and certified. Even assuming it is, you still have to just remember forever that you have a 9500lb strap.Second, and hear me out, yes... its huge. Yes, its beefy. No, I don't think you can break it with a pickup truck. I also don't think its necessary for the vast majority of people like myself who just have a little half ton truck. If you have a 1 ton or a box truck or run an excavator, this is for you. If you just want to have one in the truck for when your buddy has one too many pops on a saturday night and underestimates how deep a mud hole is, this is over kill, and frankly its not that long. I think you'd be better off with a longer strap than one this thick.Third, and yea i know I'm being picky here, the bag is cheap as heck. Think the recycled ones the grocery store sells for $1 because they're reusable and save the planet or whatever. It's not going to last. And if you think you don't need it, the dang strap is so unwieldy that you either have to surrender your back seat to it, or roll it up and stuff it in the bag.
