TowWorks 79830 keyed alike 5/8" trailer hitch lock with extra long 4-1/2" span
- Extra long locking pin fits most adjustable hitches - 5/8" diameter pin with maximum active length 4-1/2", fits most adjustable hitches.
- Such as for CURT channel style adjustable hitches 45900, 45901, 45902 and adjustable pintle hooks 45907, 45908.
- Spring clip (cotter pin) provides double safety. * Caution: Spring clip (cotter pin) MUST be used! Rubber O-Rings keep rattles down and hold the pin still.
- Processed by CNC lathe from one-piece solid hardened steel, tow up to 20,000 lbs GTW. Black e-coated on zinc plated finish.
- Separate spring clip (cotter pin) provides additional safety, can use the locking pin with or without the lock, or even the lock fails.
- This spring clip also provides additional convenience, in case to make a quick change of hitches without having to use the lock.
- Rubber O-Rings keep rattles down and hold the pin still. This pin has 8 pcs O-Rings: 6 pcs with size 7/8" x 1/8" and 2 pcs with size 25/32" x 3/32".
- Different brand hitches may have different tube size and channel size, please adjust O-Ring quantity, or remove O-Ring to fit well.
- 2 tubular keys making it easier to lock and unlock, 1/4 turn lock and push lock design, easy to operate. * Push lock design, for first time use, if cannot push very easily, please try more times and push hard.
- Watertight dust rubber cap prevents locking mechanism internal corrosion.

It was perfect for my application of an adjustable trailer hitch. This was hard to find and I am very pleased with it. It is well made and perfect for my application. Highly recommended.

Bought it for use on our 2022 F350. It has a class V receiver hitch with a class IV adapter sleeve too. Meaning that the overall size is larger than a standard class IV. So those other, smaller locking hitch pins are simply too short. This is well made and fits great for me. Buy it.

I ordered two of them and I love the lock pins but I did receive one new one in an unopened box and one that had been used and was missing the spring clip and o-rings. I went and bout the missing parts at a local parts store and pins work great. I would recommend these!

Had this on the truck a few week pulling the boat. Get no rattle. The spacers have smashed very little. I would only suggest various width spacers to add when they smash. I don’t think anyone would think about stealing my hitch with this on it. GREAT product.

Don't buy a 'locking pin' without a cotter pin. This also has a positive engagement on the lock so you know the locking end is engaged. The extra rubber o rings help prevent movement of the pin. Works great in a 3" reciever with room to spare. Overall the finish is on par with the cheaper products, nothing to write home about there.

I am comforted that this lock will make it more difficult for my hitch to be stolen, or worse. It’s in the elements 365 and has held up well. Most of the rust you see is from my Silverado’s hitch. This picture is after 2 1/2 years of use. I recommend.
