These LECA clay pebbles have been an essential tool for propagating new plants and keeping my more delicate ones thriving. The lightweight, porous structure allows for excellent airflow to the roots, which has helped prevent root rot and promote healthy growth. I’ve had great success using them in both passive hydroponics and as a soil amendment for moisture-loving plants. The pebbles arrived clean and uniform in size, which made them easy to work with. I particularly like how they retain moisture without becoming overly soggy, creating an ideal environment for plant cuttings to root successfully. If you're propagating plants or transitioning to semi-hydroponics, these LECA pebbles are a must-have. They provide great drainage, promote root health, and are reusable, making them a sustainable choice for plant care.

The mix is well-draining, which is necessary for preventing root rot and helping my cactus thrive. It has the perfect texture—not too dense or compact—allowing for great aeration. The 7.5-pound bag provides plenty of soil for multiple pots, making it a great value. I also appreciate that it’s ready to use straight from the bag, with no need for anything additional. Since using this soil, my plants look healthy. If you’re looking for a good-quality potting mix that promotes strong roots and prevents overwatering issues, this is an excellent choice.

I wanted to like this perlite, but unfortunately, it falls short of expectations. The biggest issue is how fragile it is... over half of the pieces crumbled into fine dust with just light pressure, and even the larger chunks lost a thick layer of dust. This is a problem because good perlite should maintain its structure to provide proper aeration and drainage over time.I also tested for dust content by adding a small amount to water, and the cloudiness was concerning given how little I used. Excess dust can lead to compaction rather than improved drainage, which defeats the purpose of using perlite in the first place. On the positive side, I checked the pH stability, and it seems neutral, so at least there are no major chemical contamination concerns. However, if you’re looking for a long-lasting soil amendment or hydroponic medium, this perlite is too weak and powdery to be effective. You’d be better off with a coarse horticultural-grade perlite or even pumice for better aeration and durability.Would I buy this? No. But if you don’t mind rinsing and mixing it with stronger materials, it might still be usable in some situations.

This product is lightweight and helps to quickly drain water. It has a ton of uses, chose to use it in a couple outdoor planters that get too much water. Beyond being a great product, presents really nicely.

For the amount of leca, this repotted four 6 inch pots for me. I did throughly rinse them before use. Comes in a resealable bag for easy storage. Also great for mixing with soil for better aeration.
