This set is so cute and priced fairly in my opinion! The pieces are sturdy and of high quality. The design on the pieces has not faded or scratched, even after being played with for a few weeks and cleaned a few times. Would make a great gift!

These are super cute. I love that the numbers on the train cars go from 0 to 10. It's unusual. Most toys that are numbered to teach children counting & number recognition begin with 1 and go to 9. Some may include a 0 after the 9, which always seemed odd to me, even as a kid. This train teaches the concept of 0 = nothing & that's where you are before you begin counting. It also introduces the concept of double digits & how you need to place a 0 behind the number 1 to make the numbers 10, 20, 30, etc. It's just logical when you're talking about math, in my opinion.The magnets on the train cars are fairly strong. I believe they'd be better if they were a little stronger. The colors are bright & easily attract a child's attention. Also, the animals pictured on each number are cute & again attractive to a child. It's fantastic the the wheels on the train actually roll & with care, it's possible to have the entire train go from one place to another. Stronger magnets would facilitate that even more.Some of the train cars got wet from having something spilled on them. The pieces didn't hold up well. The wood on them split & pretty much ruined the cars that got wet. Several split all the way through to the other side. That was super disappointing because now the train can't really be used as intended.In my opinion, the purchase price is quite high. $22.00 is a steep price for a little wooden train. I believe a more appropriate price would be about $7.99 - $8.99.I would recommend to the manufacturers to make the train cars out of sturdier material, like solid wood, wood replacement material made of recycled plastic bags or plastic. It really is frustrating having the little train ruined after a few uses. Except for this issue, the need for stronger magnets & price, I believe the train is cute, the colors are bright & the animal pictures on the numbers are attractive & it is great for children.I'd be more inclined to pay $22.00 for the train if it came with a small track on which it could be pushed or pulled. A small wooden track that fits together in a circle, oval or figure 8 would add to the usability of the train, especially since it can't be used easily on a rug. A set of tracks would eliminate that problem, so that might be another suggestion to the manufacturers.

This train set was impressive as soon as we opened it. It was packaged very neatly and the cars are all painted beautifully. They are sturdy and the kids love them.

Everything works as it should. Quality was a little better than expected. Paint is nice and bright, magnets are strong enough to pull the whole train, and wheels room nice and smooth. Great for a crawler to have something to play with and also get used to seeing and working with number shapes

I should have looked at reviews, because that first product picture makes it seem so much bigger compared to the child. I could fit 2 of those cars in one of mt hands easily. Other than that it's okay.

The pieces of this train toy are wooden, beautifully painted, very durable, and the the animal + number combo is so fun. The magnets are pretty sturdy and it can be pulled like a train for a little bit but since there are 12 pieces (0-10 + the train conductor car which is a cute touch) some will trail off. My 2yr old loves to name the animal and number when one falls off though so it’s really fun and educational. The wheels all run very smoothly. It’s easy to stash this toy away in a lil bag to bring with and keep my girl entertained wherever we go.

I like that this train starts with the number zero. No one ever remembers the number zero! LOL. I put all the pieces together and the magnets are strong enough to hold the whole train together while you pull it. In fact, when I lifted the train up from the ground, every single piece stayed connected while I lifted it up! So the magnets are good. My number obsessed son is going to love this train set to go with his wooden track!
