Got this for the garage and it works great. So far, it shows the same temperature as the other gauges, it’s small and discreet design will never be an eyesore. It was easy to set up and connect to the Tapo app, and the range seems very good. It works great, especially at its price point.

I got one of these and some Tapo water sensors for my basement. All the Tapo products work effortlessly. The app is intuitive, and everything connects and works just as expected. The monitor is small, great looking, and accurate. I particularly like the look of the e-ink display.I wanted something to remotely monitor the humidity in the basement (and less importantly the temperature), and this works perfectly for that purpose. I could have gotten the model without the display, but for a few bucks extra, I like this one better. In fact, after having the first one for a few months, I got another one for the living room.One note: it took about a day before I could see the readings in the phone app from outside my house. And, I hope they eventually release one with a clock.

This sensor display combo is working well. The display is super easy to read in most any lighting condition.The data is easily seen and recorded in the app.It is smaller than I expected at about 2.5†by 2.5â€.Lets you control devices based on temperature or humidity such as a fan or heater plugged into a smart outlet from TP-Link or Tapo via the app. Automations are fairly straightforward to set up in the Tapo app.

I use this sensor to make sure the bath fan is turned on when the shower is run. Most people don’t understand how bad humidity over 60% can be in the winter, and lead to mold and other moisture issues. I used a motion sensor for the longest time but it triggered the fan every time someone walked by. This device makes a lot more sense and is more energy efficient. Get that humid air out of the house! It is easy to set up as long as you have the hub. I like to automate with the Alexa app usually but the Tapo app is actually better than Alexa routines with its Automation feature.

This small device works perfectly with the Tapo hub and app and also links with my Echo Show 15 via the Tapo hub. Seems to give very accurate results based on decal other devices in use in my home. The e-ink screen is terrific!

When paired with the smart hub, this is a fantastic little smart monitor. The screen is very easy to read and updates fairly quickly. Being able to monitor the temperature and humidity throughout the day with graphs in the Tapo app is great, and you can also set it to trigger actions if temperature or humidity gets outside of your set parameter (such as use one of the Tapo smart plugs to turn on a fan or a humidifier, if your humidifier turns on with power applied at least).

I love TP-Link products. On whole I have been using them for 20+ years, and have had a very good performance and endurance of each TP-Link product from lightbulbs, outlets and switches, to Wi-Fi extenders, and now sensors. I like these TP-link tap sensors better than Ring's hub based sensor, because tapo are easier to install and maintain, and seem to perform much more consistently. I have this particular model in my covered poultry run (chicken house) and I find it to be very accurate. The only hiccup was that one of the three tapo sensor I received had a CR2450 battery that immediately needed to be replaced. But the other two tapo sensors same with good batteries.

I really like this even more than I thought I would. It is super easy to read from different angles. It is also very small (think palm of you hand small). It takes 2 AAA batteries. Mine has been installed for a month and is still showing full batteries. It does not use WiFi but rather a power saving transmission to a required hub. In the Tapo app you can see current and past temperatures as well as humidity levels. You can schedule IFTT tasks based on temperatures or humidity above or below a specific level.
