This is the second seat that I have purchased for my John Deere compact tractor. I need to protect it better from raccoons I think. They like to shred these. Replacement was easy and took just a few minutes to install.

My 2011 is 3032e has a slip in safety switch in the seat. I think this add mentioned it fits screw in type switch. The seat is stiffer and sits a little taller than the original. I read in another adds that some seats start out stiff and will wear in. I hope this one does. The bolts and bracket matched up fine, fairly easy install. Also no mounts for the triangle safety reflected on the back.

It's a very nice seat It came with all the hardware to install it and the best part is it cost less than a 3rd. Of theJ.D. O.E.M. seat and seems to be of very good quality 👌.

It’s a pretty seat and does fit our 3038e but the angle of the seat is a little elevated toward the front, and the seat is so sensitive that when you lean a bit to see where your forks are/bucket is, it shuts down. That’s a safety feature but it is too sensitive and that gets quite frustrating. Going to buy a real John Deere seat and resell this one.

With the plate sent with the seat, the universal fit took less than 15 minutes to install. Took me longer to take out the original.

Only thing didnt come with clip to hold the safety cutoff switch. Also didn't have holes to attach reflective hazard sign.
