Traceable Fridge/Freezer Digital Thermometer; 5 mL Bottle Probe
Easily monitor temperature in liquids, baths, air/gas, incubators, refrigerators, or freezers. Keep track of temperature conditions for any time period—minimum and maximum temperatures are stored until the memory is cleared. Features a triple display that simultaneously shows current, minimum, and maximum temperatures. Set high and low alarms in 1° increments; alarm sounds when temperature rises above or falls below set points, and continues to sound even if temperature returns to nonalarm range. Thermometer reads ambient temperature or probe temperature. Probe is attached to a 10-ft (3-m) micro-cable that permits a doors to close on it; probe and cable are both submersible.

We use these for work in the patient nutrition fridge in our clinics and they work pretty well. I've had no complaints, but YOU MUST KNOW THAT THEY DO HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE.

Our inspectors and third party auditors loved it and the certificate of calibration is part of our HACCP plan. Used in a yeast chamber, aging cellar, walk in refrigeration unit, and vending machine to monitor conditions. We andjust our temperature sensors according to this unit which saves us the headache of calibrating and certifying all of them. Would buy it again when the certification expires.

Good lower cost thermometer, meets our needs for refrigerator monitoring. We have bought several of these thermometers in the past. The first one we received quit working after about 6 weeks. I was unable to return to Amazon because it was outside the 30 day return window. I reached out to Cole-Parmer, manufacturer and they sent me a new one.
