Your cart is empty.This concentrated dye is what is widely used by automotive technicians. It is a very effective way to detect leaks in any oil-based automotive system (ie. engine oil, fuel system, power steering, transmission, transfer case, rear end etc.). Useful in small engines as well. Note: NOT for use in coolant or brake systems.

Pour into crankcase. Drive 100 miles, then come in with a blacklight and check for leaks.

Mixed with 1 qt of oil and dumped into a 5.7 GM motor.With the UV light I can see it fluoresce where I poured it in but it's too dilute to be useful anywhere else. The rest of the oil doesn't fluoresce any brighter than raw oil does once it's mixed with 6ish qts.Real let down, no reason to add this to your oil if it doesn't do anything.
