Found Power Steering leak with this. Put in maybe 3/4 of the measuring section, so not too much. Ran car for 120-360 seconds. IMPORTANT have the hood up, and in a dark place with a UV light shining near your leak. Once you start to see it, in my case I saw UV "dust' floating in the air. TURN THE CAR OFF!!! I still had to search for a little to find the actual leak point, but if I kept running the car it would have spread the dye everywhere, making it useless.

Works like a charm! I was able to find all the leaks.I asked at local auto stores if a solution like this exists and the answer was that is no solution to detect the oil leaks.I would by this again.

The dye ended up leaking some, and onto the inner packing, probably a third of the dye. It's probably a good product, but the squeeze to measure system, while very convenient and ingenious, created a path for leakage...

Dye worked great. I suggest you make sure it is very dark, and you test/check for leaks with the light before you add the dye. Several plastic parts on my engine fluoresce and was a bit confusing to discern what was leak and what wasn't.

easy to see with the UV LED flashlight I got elsewhere on Amazon. Be careful how you store it, the bottle ended up on it side in my garage and it leaked a bit. I have it where it won't do that again and have it in a quart ziplock bag.

Another great dye from Spectronics Corp. Works well in most kinds of oils. Eases way to identify an oil leak.Once again Super Clean Degreaser is the way to go with removal of excess dye. Just be sure to rinse with waterASAP or surface may be damaged.

Using this to dye clear hydraulic fluid that I bought "sight unseen"---and now can't see it in the sight glass on the tractor. It works.
