I got this a couple of months ago or so and it's great. It illuminates the bbs well, has a bright muzzle flash simulation though I don't use it, and lasts well beyond the 6-8 hours I usually play. Last time I went I forgot to turn it off and didn't realize until I was working on my AEG the next day because I saw the power button blinking as it was still on. The only problem I have had was it stopped working because one of the capacitors was leaking but I was able to replace it myself due to my knowledge of electronics. I can't blame the QC as things like that are unavoidable with components. Overall I would recommend for the price.

This is half the price of other tracer units and after reading the reviews I was on the fence with the quality control and whether it worked or not, but I figured it half the price it was worth a shot and I'm glad I got it. It works fantastically putting up a bright muzzle flash and lighting the tracer rounds perfectly I will say it has a couple of modes and the button is a little odd. The instructions aren't much clearer on it. Basically you push the unit one time to turn it on if it's not on already. When it's on it will flash once every 5 seconds to change the mode, you hold the button for about two or three seconds until the tracer flashes then you will be in mode too so switching back and forth between modes is while it's on press and hold the button till it flashes. It will auto off if you leave at rest, but to turn off manually you press and hold for that same time until the unit flashes and then tap it once more and it'll triple flash indicating it's going off and not switching modes. It's a little confusing but just play with it you'll get it. It looks super fantastic at night and I'm definitely getting another one for my pistol. I mounted this one on a AEG AR-15. And I ended up swapping it back and forth to my pistol so much that I'm going to get another one. It has standard 14 counterclockwise threading. That is the standard of the people who had problems with fitment are using unusual sizes. Definitely best in price category, 4 Stars.

I know it’s a “gel blaster†tracer but I want to try it for airsoft and I’ve been using it at the field for 2 years works just fine for airsoft! The build quality is a little lower than most airsoft tracer units but if you’re on a budget it will do just fine if you take care of it!

I've had this for about 2 weeks and it's been very good so far. It illuminated my BB's really well and the muzzle flash is amazing. It's very durable and has been through the mud and rain multiple times and still works as if I had just taken it out of the box for the first time. I'd 100% recommend it if you're looking for a cheap and reliable tracer unit.

Pros:Battery life is amazing, and charged really fast.I really like the different modes this tracer has between the simulated muzzle flash, just the tracer glow or both. Simple to use and switch modes.Con: just wish it came a lil slimmer so I could go for a honey badger style m4 aeg look but overall it’s amazing

First cons:The charging port is too close to the barrel so it makes the whole thing flex. Guys change this bc the charger shouldn’t have to touch the barrel.No off button. I thought bc this tracer has a button it would work to power it off. It does not. You just have to wait for it to time out.The whole thing seems a little cheap and sketchy (mainly the charging thing), but it is cheap compared to competitors.Bright green light flashes while in use and others can see it.Pros:It works the flame effect is cool.I like the sleek design.

Bought 4 of them they all work great.Charging is a bit cumbersome, had to take them out of the case since there is a clearance issue with the charging cable i was using and the case, but it does work. No issue using the supplied cable.
