Patterns cost so much, need more than 1 size works good. Paper quality is good, can see through but not sheer like original pattern. I needed 2 sizes and know the kids just keep growing.

We all know art materials grew to crazy prices..This is a useful tracing paper at a good price, .18 inches x.30 yards. I have seen small tablets of tracing paper for this price.The fact that is on a roll is a good thing, although one does need to secure the edges when using. But flat tablets can easily be damaged in storage ..and curl at edges. With a roll, it is easy to cut to the needed size…and can handle large tracings with less taping together than using a pad.I haven’t tested used 0.7 pencil which smudges only slightly, and erases well. Ball point pen and sharpies also good. If using as copy over paper, it takes a soft graphite, and easily traces onto another sheet.This is not the smooth glass- like top notch paper, it appears rather opaque, but transparent enough for most if not all needs…easy to see/trace details, even light small text. . It doesn’t tear easily, so is likely to hold up.It crinkles with water, but dries out ok-ish. Though wouldn’t recommend soaking it. It is a bit like a sturdy tissue paper. Probably not best for painting on. But good for its tracing purpose.It could be used for pattern making, but you would find proper pattern making paper more satisfactory. For width and markings.

Compared to what small tracing pads cost this is a good value. It works even better if you get a roll dispenser for it. My kiddos love to draw and blow through any kind of paper I get for them so this was a good get. It works well for tracing, it's thin enough to see through it but not so thin that it tears super easily. You don't need a lightbox to use it but it does help of course if you do have one.

I used this to cut out a sewing pattern. Very easy to use. Easy to draw on and not too thin that it just rips to pieces when you handle it.
