Bought this seat for my Cub Cadet ZT1 50 inch mower as the stock seat resulted in my back getting knocked around and extremely sore. This seat is so worth the price and the effort to install. Be advised its a heavy and solid seat at 66 pounds. Having a second person to aid with installing is helpful. That being said the suspension ride smooths out the ride on my large bumpy lawn. The cushioning is firm and supports very well. The adjustable arm rest along with the adjustable seat back angles and headrest allow for comfort beyond belief. The only issue is that with some or equipment the seat switch wiring may need some splicing. I highly recommend this seat as after a several hours of use I have zero jarring and zero back pain. It does exactly what it was intended to do!

I replaced my Kubota BX2230 seat with the TICSEA suspension seat to help my lower back when running over bumps. After viewing dozens of videos for installing various suspension seats and systems in tractors, installation was much easier than I could have hoped for. 7 steps:1. Remove 4 bolts for the 2 slide adjustment rails frame from the TICSEA seat. (The new seat uses the Kubota slide adjustment.)2. Remove one little hairpin cotter clip from the pivot mount of the Kubota seat and move the Kubota seat a ½†to release it from the pivot brackets on the tractor.3. Lift the whole seat assembly off the tractor.4. Remove 4 bolts securing the Kubota seat to the original seat frame. (Easier to do with the seat out of the tractor.)5. Align the Kubota seat bracket on the TICSEA seat in approximately the same position it was on the Kubota seat. The holes in the bracket for the original seat cannot be used.6. Drill 4 holes to mount the old seat bracket to the new seat suspension plate – 2 near the front edge of the plate and 2 along the edges about 6†back. I used four #14 X 1†self-drilling screws but pre-drilled 3/16†pilot holes through the old bracket and through the suspension plate. The screws extend upward into the suspension system but don’t interfere at all. It’s just as securely mounted as the old seat was!7. The new seat (mounted to the old frame) was then mounted into the tractor frame pivot brackets and the hairpin clip inserted into the pivot pin (reversing Step 2).• The TICSEA suspension seat is 2†higher than the original Kubota seat but tilts forward like the old seat.• The original seat pressure safety switch works fine. (Didn’t need to use the safety switch that’s on the TICSEA seat.)• The weight adjustment on the TICSEA seat is easy to use. The assembly slides forward and backward with the Kubota adjustment mechanism.• The built-in seat belts on the TICSEA seat are easier to access than the original seat-belts.• The headrest & adjustable seat back are a bonus. The TICSEA doesn’t have armrests, but without them, it’s easier to get on and off the Kubota. (The The TICSEA headrest doesn’t want to stay in an extended position, but that’s OK for me.)The TICSEA seat works and looks very similar to the $1,400 suspension seat found on some Kubota tractors.

I replaced the seat on my old Hustler zero turn mower with this seat. The weight adjustment doesn’t seem as robust as the original. It even came with an extra adjustment knob. Seem a little suspicious but we’ll see. The seat sits just a little higher than the original but it is very comfortable. Only time will tell how it is going to last but for now it’s a great improvement over the worn out one it replaced.

Purchased a used Cub Cadet zero-turn mower and needed a replacement seat. Son-in-law felt this one would work and it does!! Wife is very pleased with it!!!
