I purchased this to travel with my friends and family on vacation and it was exactly what we needed. It’s Sturdy and well built. It was easy to put together and easy to attach to the vehicle. I had it loaded with suitcases, coolers, and even a wheelchair and everything fit perfect. I put a tarp over everything in case it rained, strapped it all down, and we were on our way to the beach! When we got to our condo and took everything off, I folded it up for easy parking and it was not in the way at all during our trip. I definitely would recommend this product for anyone who travels!

Overall great! Couple of spots with surface rust due to poor paint job, likely wasn't even primed. Unit is study and should last a long time.

The product is all steel. And very heavy. Assembly was simple but not easy. Should be two people. No way I could install it on the vehicle alone. It was delivered on time and packed well with no damage. Using it for first time next week. Will update then.

It is heavy as can be expected from that much steel but it is very sturdy. I use it behind my Jeep Wrangler. I haul concrete pavers and cinder blocks on it. It is often exposed to salt air in a beach environment for weeks and seems fairly rust resistant. Nothing is rust proof in salt saturated air.

DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!!! This is the worst piece of Chinese crap I have ever purchased. All of the welds on this carrier were not completed. Only tacked. It is super super super thin tubing so having to go back and weld all of these pieces of tubing took a few hours. The expanded metal on the bottom is more or less just wire and not metal. I am a welder/fabricator by trade and this is the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen. Had I not absolutely needed this, I would have sent back. Also, when it arrived, there were several shipping dents already in the tubing of which I had to try and straighten out. Please, save yourself the money and buy something not on Amazon that is american made. You will thank yourself for doing so.

As you can see by the picture when the rack is folded up and away the hole for the pin to keep the rack upright is not located in a position where the pin can be put in place. Look closely and you can see the arm in the way when the rack is as far up as it can go. A error in fabrication or design for sure. I’m going to have to elongate the holes on both sides enough for the pin to go through.
