It's made of heavy duty rubber and it fits very tight into the hitch opening. Two hitch covers for the price of one!

There are two to a pack, so I used one in the Infiniti QX60 and one in the Chevy Silverado. It fit the Infiniti perfect, however it was a little loose on the Chevy. They both have a 2" receiver I suppose Chevy's 2" receiver is slightly larger than 2". Only time will tell as to the how long it lasts exposed to the elements. Appears to be a quality product.

We have two vehicles that both have the standard class III - 2 inch hitch receiver. One is newer and looks very clean, but the other is older and is showing a lot of rust. I usually have to clean out the 2 inch throat before trying to slide the hitch in. These are made rubber and were easy to install. The plug fits in nicely and has some extra grip area to help it stay in the opening. It has a formed rubber ring that goes over the outside of the receiver so when the plug is out, it can just hang a little below the receiver.

The trailer hitch hole cover is very flexible and was easy to install even in cold weather. It fits snuggly and should help to keep the inside of the trailer hitch clean and dry making attaching and removing the trailer ball receiver easy. The second cover will be great to have on hand should something happen to the one currently on duty with the trailer hitch. It should help the trailer hitch last longer by avoiding standing moisture that could cause rust. Since you get 2 covers for one low price, this is a great deal!
