I recently rented a uhaul trailer and all lights operated as expected. Fits perfectly, just enough tension.Always be sure to use covers (for the metal pins in connection) when not towing. Road debris & moisture can cause issues with ABS as well as lights not working on your vehicle.

This adapter is a must have for most newer vehicles while using older trailers. This single adapter allowed my horse trailer and utility trailer to work perfectly using this 1 device. Extremely simple to install as you only need to plug it into your vehicle and then attach your wiring to it. It poured down rain for 2 days straight and I forgot to unplug the adapter from my vehicle. Used the utility trailer the following day with no issues whatsoever. Fantastic buy!

We tow a drift boat with the Tesla X and needed an adapter for the trailer lights. This little gem was easy to install. Performs perfectly, allows us to connect any system to the X for the trailer. And was way less expensive than what Tesla wanted to sell us.
