This VONLX shackle kit includes everything needed to repair, replace, or upgrade a trailer's suspension. The materials seem to be of good quality, with the hardware either painted or powder-coated for protection. We purchased a gooseneck trailer and discovered that the axles were installed incorrectly, requiring the complete removal, relocation, and installation of new suspension mounts to the frame, along with new axle springs and the VONLX shackle kit.Our 20-foot trailer (small for a gooseneck) rides on two 5,200-pound capacity axles. After installing the new mounts, springs, and shackles, the difference in handling was like night and day. Despite regular exposure to poorly maintained dirt roads, the components from the kit show no signs of corrosion or rust. The nylon bushings, along with the mounting hardware, significantly improved the stability of the trailer, minimizing the lateral movement of the spring-axle assembly.The only point of uncertainty comes from VONLX’s product page, which claims that the materials are stainless steel. However, a local trailer parts store mentioned that the triangle equalizers are typically made from cast ductile iron. This discrepancy is something to consider. (Minus 1 Star)Overall, the improvement in our trailer's towing stability is remarkable! I would recommend this kit to others, especially given the noticeable enhancement in towing characteristics after installation.
