This safety pad is ASTM Standard Safety Padding with ¾ inch over rail thickness, 10 inches wide, with a 4 inch skirt. It is a very strong and high quality safety pad with ½ inch foam thickness. The material is high quality, shock absorbent, tear resistant, high density, closed-cell foam that will not absorb water or lose shape. Coating is UV and cold weather crack resistant. This safety pad includes double rubber ties for better protection and to hold the safety pad tightly and neatly to the trampoline frame and jumping mat. This Spring Cover is a higher quality material and seems like it will last longer in sunny Phoenix weather. Velcro opening makes it Super Easy to put over springs without having to remove net. Sizing was accurate for our 15ft trampoline. Have been using for a couple months and cover fits great with no gaps.

I like that it's fastened to the mat, as well as the rim, so it stays in place, but it's just barely wide enough to cover the springs, and does not cover the stitching around the mat (where the D-rings are sewn to the mat). Other pads have covered that stitching, and it's prolonged the life of my mat by many years, as the stitching is the first thing to sun-rot. No idea how long this pad will last, but it doesn't protect the mat edge as well as other brands, so my mat isn't going to last as long as it could have.

I used the product even though it did not fit because I couldn't find an octagonal shape. I'm still looking.
