I used to strap down a water hose reel box and they installed easily and would recommend these for securing items in soil. the combination of anchors with adjustable straps is a good and flexible solution to securing something to the ground.

I had a vine on an arbor that kept blowing over in strong winds. The many garden stakes I used didn't work well. However, these stakes worked PERFECTLY!!! The screw-in function of the very sturdy metal stakes keep them in place and the straps are quite strong. I clearly didn't test them on a trampoline, but they are very well made.

Used the stakes on my chicken coop to hold the top tarp flat to the roof wire to extend the life of the tarp. Large tent stakes pulled out of the ground, especially when it rained. These hold tight.

Unbelievably wonderful! Trampoline didnt move at all during the hurricane & tornado outbreak. 60mph gusts. Easy to install, took about 30 mins.

I had to return these because I wasn't able to install the anchors into the local gravel subsoil. The problem may have been a combination of the easily-loosened stoney soil and the "corkscrew" anchor design: It was difficult to impossible to screw the anchor into the soil because it invariably encountered stones that impeded its progressive penetration into the ground - which caused it to "auger", pulling the soil up around it and creating a hole roughly the diameter of the corkscrew. Consequently, there was nothing to hold the anchor into the ground. Even if it was screwed in at a severe angle, the loosened soil gave it no holding "grip".As far as the quality of the components (anchors and straps), these anchors were somewhat heavier-gauge metal than some other similar anchors, which may make them more resistant to bending when trying to screw them into "firm" ground. The straps looked to be rugged and adequate, and they were perhaps 20% wider than the straps provided in some other similar anchor kits.Unfortunately, being unable to install these anchors here, I can't report about the strength or durability of the straps.

Bought 2 sets for Scout Troop's use to anchor 2 pop-up kitchen shelters into the ground. Cannot use the straps as too short for pop-ups but used rope to fasten them to the screw anchors. Worked really well in both sandy and packed loam/clay conditions and has held pop-ups in place during severe winds gusts. Recommend you use a metal bar to turn the screw into place and to unscrew them. Really speeds up the process.
