It isnt tighten up the distributer now at 1st ther was no issue but after cranking it over the monthe for some reason the distributer isnt cutting wouldnt waste my money on this tho i how shiney it was but it isnt recommended for silverados obs now im stuck with it intead of getting my money back becuase my return wind litterly closed 4 days ago thumbs down

I am glad I installed the old style lock down collar because now the distributor will turn where it needs to be for proper timing and running good. The new lock down washer that comes with the new distributor is not the correct one for older models.

The bolt was too big, would not fit in the block, it is a smaller metric bolt that fits. The vehicle I was working on was a 1999 GMC suburban 5.7 work tech

Very weak. It bent first time i tighten it. Wondered why my engine started running bad and noticed my distributor was loose
