Installed these in a 1980 Jeep CJ5 w/ a Vortec 350 and T176 trans. Used the Advanced Adapter(s) plate to convert the trans to a Chevy bellhousing. I marked the transmission prior to removing the 4.2L, and after buttoning everything up, the trans moved forward about 1/2 inch. No drive shaft issues whatsoever.

These are sturdy and fit well, The finish was half gone when I got them and the rest can be rubbed off with your finger. I had them sandblasted and powder-coated for another $45. now they are finished the way they should have been in the first place
