I liked most everything about it with one exception. I guess its just a issue if you are into perfection. As I said in the title it works just fine. But as you can see in the picture it sticks out in places unnecessarily and others it lines up perfectly. I'm not sure why someone didn't just trace a TH400 pan and make that the outer edge of the gasket. Its like someone just assumed the corner was more square instead of the way the actual pan curves.Like I said it does its job it just looks bad doing it.

I won't hesitate to say that it's a well made gasket, in fact, it's a dead ringer for the Moroso version. (These days who knows, it could have been produced in the same factory.)If you look at reviews on the Moroso version you'll find that some love them and some say they won't seal properly. Ultimately, my experience has been that they will seal perfectly "if" you have a true/smooth surface on the trans case and the pan. These gaskets work well on perfectly flat, cast aluminum pans but not so well on the stock type steel pans. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the price. It's not bad for the price but if you shop wisely you can get the Moroso version at the same price point.

Installed this on my 1970 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup with a Turbo 400. This Gasket is easier to install than those cork ones as it stays in place better when installing the transmission pan.

The Rat Fink sez, Excellent product. The Ad is 100% accurate in the description and pictures of the gasket. It is stiff and has a metal spine, not a limp, flaccid, floppy gasket that has to be glued on.Perfect for a Turdbowl 400 with an aluminum oil pan!Recommended.
