First, these are truly detail brushes. If you're anything like myself you've had the frustration of buying detail brushes online only to receive massive brushes. This set has been incredible, the sizes are as follows:20/0 short20/0 short liner10/0 short liner5/0 short liner5/0 standard0 short liner They came in a reusable plastic envelop. Each brush has a sleeve. The triangle handle is comfortable for long paint sessions. It has a long brass ferule which works well for protecting the handle while cleaning. The bristles are well set and I haven't noticed any shedding as of yet. I'll update if I do.Use: I work in acrylic paint doing highly detailed paintings, such as 1/4'' birds and individual blades of grass. These brushes have been great for most of my basic work. Although I have a smaller brush for the truly tiny work.Yes, I would highly recommend this set. They would be great for both beginners and pros alike. Happy painting.

These have a feeling of quality in the hand. I have used and cleaned a few of them a few times and there are no problems with their performance or durability. Even the very fine tipped brushes wick the paint well and allow me to paint fine details easily on an RC car. Overall, I am impressed because you get multiple good brushes for a price that I would pay for a single brush.

I really like these. I had a set I purchased and they were awful, broke early on, but the biggest problem with fine liners is that they should be tapered at the end. It doesn’t make sense to cut them blunt for something you want a tiny point for details. And the loose hairs that cut produces can get you a streak of paint and ruin a project. That’s what I had. Well, Transon does it RIGHT! They are tapered and they seem pretty sturdy so far. No wood to chip off when wet. They are made of practice materials, have a nice unique shape that makes them comfortable to hold and grip for detail work. Pretty color, too.Just well and properly made brushes. I’m very happy with them. Clean easily.Good variety of sizes. My one tiny criticism is I don’t get including doubles of the same size. Then again, perhaps I may find that a positive down the road when I’ve worn it out and happen to have an extra on hand. Yet there are doubles only of certain sizes. Yea, I don’t know. I thought it was an error at first, but I got exactly what I wanted and needed and Transon makes a good brush.There are endless, countless brush sets here and it can be so hard to figure out what is what and what is really reliable.I’d count this set a reliable choice.

they weren't the sizes I thought they were, but the smallest ones work on my paint by number canvases. They are easy to hold but the bristles tend to fan out. I try not to push on them to prevent that.

Nice inexpensive brushes. The fine brushes are great. I wash them and reuse them tons of times, and they have held up very well.

These are superb brushes for fine detail. I am mainly an acrylic painter and for the very fine details these brushes work very well. Will also use them for watercolour painting. Very good buy and well priced.

A nice set of brushes.Used for minature painting.Lost a star due to the detail brushes having some fibres becoming dislodged pretty easily which has messed up some highlighting before I realised.Luckily there are a wide range of brushes in this set so I've just used a different one.As others have mentioned, make sure to wash and condition before use as there is glue on the brushes to make the look nice and pointy!
