White Waterslide Transfer Paper Inkjet
Notes before printing

Step 1

Step 1: SET

Please complete BELOW settings before print:

  • Don’t reverse your image---No mirror printing.
  • Set Printing Quality to HIGH QUALITY.
  • Set Paper Type to Plain Paper.

The water transfer paper supports high resolution 9600 x 2400dpi. The printed image is quite vivid and saturated.

Step 2

Step 2: PRINT

Print your design on the BLANK side of the transfer paper. Check if the printed image is complete after the printing is done.

NOTES:

  • Please don’t touch the printed image directly, the grease on your fingers will reduce the adhesion of coating.
  • You can print more small images on one sheet of transfer paper to improve its utilization rate.
  • Compatible with regular ink (pigment ink and dye Ink). Please DO NOT use sublimation ink.
  • Not compatible with Laser printers. For LaserJet, please choose Laser Waterslide Decal paper in our store or by clicking the link in the bottom section.

Step 3

Step 3: SPRAY COATING

After the printed image dries out, spray an even thin coat of the Acrylic Spray 20cm away from the image slowly and continuously. Allow it to dry for 1 or 2 hours, or dry it using a hairdryer at low temperature.

NOTES:

  • Spray the acrylic coat over your image for THREE times in a ventilated room. And allow your image to dry for about 10 minutes after each spray.
  • Acrylic Spray is Crystal Clear Spray Paint. Due to its inflammable nature, it is not included in the pack. You can buy it from local store or online.

Step 4

Step 4: CUT OUT YOUR DESIGN

Use scissors to cut out your design. D0 NOT cut too close to the edge of the image, leaving a 2 ~ 3mm of margin.

Step 5

Step 5: SOAK IN WATER

Soak your design into lukewarm water for 15~25 seconds to separate the backing paper and the transfer film.

NOTES:

  • Don’t soak the image too long, or the film would break during transfer.
  • If the ink of your design peels off or the color fades, that means the coating is too thin or part of your design is not fully covered by the coating.

Step 6

Step 6: TRANSFER

Separate the backing paper of soaked image, press one side of image, slide the backing paper off from another side gently.

Step 7

Step 7: SMOOTH OUT THE IMAGE

Use a plastic board to smooth out the image, wipe off water on the surface, remove small bubbles and droplets until the image stick perfectly on the mug.

NOTE:

Please make sure there’s no air bubbles and droplets when the image stick on mug, the small bubble will become to big bubble after backing, the image will be easy to peel off with bubble inside.

Step 8

Step 8: BAKE

  1. Adjust the oven to 140℃-160℃ (284℉-320℉).
  2. Preheat it for 5 minutes.
  3. Put the cup into the oven, set oven to the upper and lower fire position, bake for 10~15 minutes (Be careful of burns).
  4. Get out of the cup and let it cool down to room temperature after baking.

This was the first and only water slide paper that I’ve purchased, the instructions were easy to follow making it easy to use. I love love love using waterside decals now and will be purchasing again. The cost is pretty comparable to other brands.

Works great! Easy to use! Make sure you coat with clear spray first, dry, then apply to whatever with water! A sponge works best

I used these to add a name on drum sticks (no not chicken) that were given as gifts to my daughters high school Drumline. Worked well on wood with A thin layer of clear coat for sealing.

This is the worst decal paper I have ever used. It does not adhere at all. A total waste of time and money

Did a nice job. Can be difficult to hide the shine of the plastic. I know there is a special solution you can apply to help it not show. Trim as close as possible, to make it easier to hide.

I was so excited to receive this. Unfortunately it didn't really live up to it's promises. It was hard to work with, it came off of some of the things I put it on. I put some on wine glasses and baked them. They weren't all that great. It's not smooth and I just wasn't impressed.

*Make sure you spray to seal the print with clear acrylic spray and let it dry fully*I found out you could create your own decals using waterslide paper very recently and bought this pack to give it a go. I always look at the bad reviews first and was a bit concerned, however I soon found out most of these were from those that didn't seem to follow the instructions - mainly that you need to seal the print with clear acrylic spray. This not only protects the ink from running but it makes the decal much much more durable and thicker. If you do not do this step, the ink will rub straight off and the decal will be wafer thin and break apart within seconds of handling it.I follows the steps:1. Printed high quality images with the printer set to photo paper (glossy)2. Sprayed the paper with clear matte acrylic spray 2 times with generous coats.3. Let it dry overnight4. Cut out the decals5. Drop in a little tub of water to soak for ~20 seconds6. Decal slides right off the backing7. I wet the surface of the model slightly so the decal could slide about to position it8. I held the decal down at one end and swiped as much water out as I couldResult was perfect. I personally cut out the decals before I sprayed them, so I imagine the decals would slide off even easier if you spray them before cutting them out as then the edges will not be sealed too.Reviews about poor quality images are 100% down to the printer as I managed to print extremely high quality high DPI images which were as sharp as you could get.Reviews about the decals breaking apart are 100% to do with either not sealing them with spray, or using a poor quality spray. I personally used Rust-oleum Crystal Clear Matt Finish.

Se despega muy bien y no se corre

Lo único, una vez impresas, barnizar el papel de calca para que no se "corra" la tinta cuando colocas la calca sobre la superficie

These do work, however are a bit flimsier than other types so you need to be more careful. The instructions are rubbish.Clearcoat the images a minium of 3 times. I do 5 coats with 30mins of drying time inbetween. This will really seal the ink in. Use room temp water not cold for a few seconds until it slides. Wet your item than place the decal on your item. I would normally use a silicone brush at this point to flatten it but it was too brittle. Use kitchen roll to smooth it very gentle and absorb the excess water. Leave it overnight than bake if required. I found this method gave me the best results
