I am in love with this thing. My parents are practically hoarders, and they have finally - FINALLY - allowed us to help them start cleaning out their house, which has three stories AND an attic. My knees hurt just thinking about it. This thing allows you to just - throw stuff out the window! (Soft, unbreakable stuff, obviously). It is made of a Tyvek-like material so clothes, blankets, books - you name it - just slide. And if there were icky stuff this could be easily washed. This is saving us countless trips up and down the stairs and lets us save those for breakable items going to donation, or furniture, or things that won't fit in here. This is only 14 feet so doesn't reach all the way to the ground from the attic but it definitely aims things in the right direction, and we just placed a big tarp underneath to catch all the clothes etc that were being disposed of. To me anyone who lives in a house with two or more stories should keep one of these on hand for spring cleaning or whatnot. I wish I had known this existed the last time I moved from a third story apartment!

Cool Concept, I truely wished it wouldve worked for us, but after about a hour fiddling around with it, we just decided to go back to the old fashion way

We inherited a big workshop with a loft that was full of 'treasures' that needed sorted out. We tried dropping trash items over the loft railing into trash cans, but neither of us are great shots so we ended up picking things up off of the floor. Glass items are especially noxious. Who needs multiple boxes of mismatched mayonnaise jars? This chute lets us drop stuff down and into a trash can or the back of the pickup without having to handle it more times. The chute is made from a heavy woven material, kind of like a super heavy duty tarp. It's reinforced with webbing to make it even stronger. It needs some slight, really easy assembly, you just overlap the tubes and secure them with zip ties. It won't handle big boxes, but they won't fit in a trash can anyway. We ended up attaching the top to an old basketball hoop to keep it open. The bottom end just hangs into a trash can and everything is nicely contained. It's well constructed and should hold up great to any project we do in the future.

After lugging 5 gallon buckets down the stairs full of debris, having this chute is an upgrade. Ideally I would have liked to have it go directly into the dumpster, but our dumpster was placed at the end of the driveway, so we have to use a rolling 55 gallon trash barrel. But rolling a barrel every hour or so, beats lugging a bunch of 5 gallon buckets down the stairs. This chute lets gravity do the heavy lifting!
