This is nice to have. It works great for younger infants, especially those that aren’t sitting up on their own yet. Since babies love to bang on things and make noise this is nice to have while you have them sitting in their seat as you cook, clean, eat, etc. However it didn’t work for us very long for a couple of reasons. The most important one was once my grandson started reaching for things it seemed to make the seat not so safe. When he leaned over it would wobble and we were afraid the Bumbo was going to topple over. Also, it must have made him feel a little claustrophobic. He’s always been thin but he’s in the 90th percentile for height, so that could be the reason. He would just panic if we started to put the tray on. We stopped using this tray around 6 months. For the price it is still a good deal for a few months of use.

I’ve been using this tray accessory with my baby’s seat for a while now, and while it serves its purpose, it has a few shortcomings. On the positive side, the tray is easy to attach and clean, which is important when you have a baby making a mess during feeding time. The material feels lightweight and wipes down easily with a damp cloth, so I don’t have to worry about food getting stuck in any crevices.However, I did find the tray to be a little flimsy. It doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would’ve liked, especially when my baby pushes against it. It holds up fine for light use, but if your baby is active or tries to lean on it, it can shift slightly. I also noticed that the tray isn’t dishwasher-safe, which would’ve been a helpful feature for busy parents.
