Seemed to perform as advertised. I have no way to assess accuracy bc I didn't have a lab test the water for reference. Do essentially, a negative result makes me feel good, but I realize im assuming it's accurate. Insert shoulder-shrug emoji.

I had a great time experimenting with the 17-in-1 testing kit for water and additives. Testing samples of tap water, tap water+few drops of bleach, well water, and even tap water with a pinch of salt was quite enlightening. Using two strips for each sample allowed for a parallel comparison, which was very useful. The results were quite informative. Tap water generally met all the OK requirements (under blue blocks), while water + few drops of bleach showed changes indicating chlorine and total alkalinity. Well water, on the other hand, exhibited changes in acidity, higher hardness, and slightly elevated sulfur content. The water with added salt also showed changes in the sodium chloride block. Although I couldn't determine specific concentrations, the overall results were in line with my expectations. The testing process was simple and quick, with no confusing or difficult steps. I find these testing strips quite intriguing, and I look forward to testing them on different water samples in the future.Additionally, I tested for bacteria by adding tap water to the bottle, and after over a day, there has been no change in color (still yellow). In the area I’m living, the water quality is generally good. However, I appreciate having this product for added confidence in my daily drinking water.Overall, I think this product is pretty good and worth recommending. It's a handy tool for anyone interested in testing water quality at home.

Our water is beyond probably anything most have seen. This test seemed to work great but all of out levels were off the charts. We did buy a new water system for iron so I will retest soon to see the difference.

I recently purchased this water test kit and have been thoroughly impressed with its simplicity and effectiveness. The kit comes with a 16 parameter strip test, which covers a wide range of water quality metrics, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of your water's condition. Additionally, the inclusion of a coliform bacteria test adds an extra layer of peace of mind by checking for harmful bacteria presence. What sets this kit apart is the user-friendly experience it offers. The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand, making the testing process a breeze even for beginners. Alongside, the easy reference guide is a handy tool, providing quick interpretations of the test results without the need for expert knowledge.Highly recommended for anyone looking to ensure the safety and quality of their well water with ease.

Absolutely love that I can test my water at home or the cabin or even out camping with this test so easily! Supplied with a ton of test straps and an easy to read chart to get your results. I was scared at first, note which way to hold the strip when reading results, as I had mine upside down at first! Great value, seems to be accurate according to all the other testing I've done on my home water quality.

I tested my well water in the backyard, although we mostly drink treated municipal water, we occasionally use well water, which we felt had a slightly different taste. I was pleased that this product provided quick results, all of which were reassuring, including the absence of bacteria. I can now use this well water with confidence. I plan to use the remaining strips periodically; however, I noticed that there areonly 2 strips for bacteria testing, but I don't think I'll need to use them too frequently. I also tested our tap water, which was also free of any issues.

Hard to review without lab comparison, but it seems like a comprehensive kit for an affordable product. Two additional things I liked... a combined bacteria test kit and easy to follow instructions. Two things I didn't... NO LABELS on the inner foil packaging and the provided color chart is glued to the round plastic container that rolls around, so it's very hard to write down the results in two minutes without help.

Aside from the alkalinity these do not appear to measure any reasonable amount of minerals or even Ph.I measure 4 different kinds of water.Cold well water, hot well water(ran through a 3M water softener cartridge), mineral water made from the same well source (which should show measurably increased levels of sodium chloride at roughly 150 mg/l), and Walmart brand bottled water.Aside from the total alkalinity being slightly different between the 3 well sourced samples and the bottled water, I cannot make out any difference in any of the other supposedly measure areas. Even though I precisely measured and dissolved 2.5 grams of sodium chloride in 5 gallons of water for the homemade mineral water. Not to mention all of the various calcium salts added to it.
