Had 'belt slipping' effect and after trying to fiddle with the walking belt, I marked the drive belt with a white marker and sure enough it was the drive belt that was slipping and not walking belt. After replacing the drive belt and re tightening the walking belt no more slipping!I'll update if the drive belt breaks/fails on me since I just now replaced it.
