Good tool for up to stated limb width. It holds the limb well which has been cut. Good for foraging, as you can reach higher limbs and ones across a ditch

Device seems well designed and worked well on my initial project. Telescoped to a workable distance and retracted for closer cuts. It could cut smaller branches but does have its limits. Half inch about does it an requires some grip. It remains to be seen how well it holds up. It is light weight and easy to handle.

Do not buy this! It’s a waste of money and most of the instructions are in some type of Chinese language.

I am the owner of at least 3 different types of telescopic pruners. The original ones that I had really took strength to close the blades and with my ever-growing crepe myrtle trees, I was losing the battle and took the trees down. I replaced them with smaller ornamental trees that need less pruning yearly. Still, I needed a telescopic pruner for the overgrowth from the neighbors, and this looked like an improvement over the "pull the rope" version or the "slide the pulley that breaks often" version, both of which have served me well but just were not ideal for a 5ft tall woman. This will be perfect for dogwood trees, holly bushes and small branch removal that is just too far for me to get. This "grip and snap" version was much easier for me to hold and operate, however it does have its limits on branch size. I will certainly use it and I do think it's an improvement over the others in design. I predict, there will certainly be times when I need to try the other styles depending on what I need to cut and whether I have a grown son around to help me. Four stars. *** Review by Mrs. WryGuy2 ***
