Arrived on time and well packed. Too early to make a review on quality but I can say that it charged at good speed and fully and, that held the charge nicely. I hope that it’ll continue doing that for several years as an original battery will do.

Battery seems to have taken a charge. I never use the laptop on battery power for long. But I like to get it started while I am setting up the work station. These are inexpensive and do the job. I had an employee leave the computer on when they put it away for an extended time and killed the old one. This is a good replacement.

My laptop battery wouldn't hold a charge. I found this replacement and now it works perfectly! Pretty fast recharging, and seems to hold the charge well!

To begin with, I am a retired IT field tech.My laptop is an HP 17-by0061st, roughly six years old. The current battery is definitely bad. Upon removal, I saw that it was bubbled, and the diags confirmed that it was due to be replaced. The laptop, when powered off, would reboot instead of powering down. This battery part number for the battery from the HP manual matched the part number provided here, L1119-855. However, the MwAH was higher on this part than the original battery.Nonetheless, I installed it. I had some initial boot issues on first boot. I don't know if that was related to the difference in MwAH. Once I passed that, things were fine. My shutdown issues were resolved. And the battery reaches roughly 50% depletion after more than 2 hours, which is about the same run time that I had when the laptop was new.The install manual included with the battery said to fully discharge it to 2% then do a complete recharge. On Win11 you don't have the option (With this laptop) to reach a 2% level. It automatically go into sleep at 10%. There is no way that I am familiar with to adjust that lower. However, following the built-in limitations did not prove to be an impediment.I read some reviews that said that the included screwdriver was inadequate. While I have my own tools, I did use the supplied screwdriver, and found no problem.Allow me to provide a hint on screw removal. Laptop screws are rather small, and easy to loose. Grab a bowl, and put your screws in that as you remove them. In fact, have multiple bowls to put screws from different laptop parts in (One if you have a screw for an optical drive, one for bottom screws, etc) I use left over lids from peanut jars. Two other hints. One is, don't work on the laptop next to the edge of the table. Move the laptop a foot or so away from the edge of the table. That way, if you drop a screw, there is less chance that it will fall on the floor. The other hint is that if you drop a screw, don't try to catch it. Instead, follow it with your eyes to the floor. If you try to catch it, the probability is low that you will catch it, and the odds increase that you will lose it. Especially if your floor is carpeted.

I keep my laptop plugged in most of the time because I use it at work mostly. My original battery started to swell and disform my laptop. I bought this battery because I could get it quickly and the price was right. Fit was same as original, after 1 hour and 15 minutes the percentage dropped to 88% ( I keep my laptop open and on with the sleep option turned off and I was using it off and on too), I can't remember if that is good, nor do I care because it will always be plugged in. Seems normal to me. Anyways it get's the job done and I'll update if it does not last.

I ordered the battery Wednesday evening, and it arrived Thursday morning! I installed it on Friday evening and I'm typing this review using the new battery in my HP laptop. Installation was VERY easy they even included a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the old battery and place them back in on the new one. They also included a plastic paddle (looks like a small putty knife for drywall spackling) to help open the laptop case instead of using a screwdriver which might break the plastic case.

Battery came with a partial charge, around 50%. But I followed the included instructions which said to let it drain to 2% before fully charging it.So after the battery got down really low, I left it plugged in overnight, but the next morning the charge had not gone up at all.I found a support forum at the HP website that mentioned to uninstall the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" driver, then power down the laptop, followed by removing then re-installing the battery, and restarting the computer. I did this, but the battery still isn't charging, and now is reading 0% and the laptop can only turn on with the power cord plugged in.Very disappointed. Not sure how there are so many good reviews.

I got this battery for my laptop about 5 months ago, and it worked great, but suddenly my laptop will die around 50% and make me completely restart it every time (problem with the CMOS). Opened it up, and the battery is pretty swollen. Will have to get a replacement now. Ok for the price--I just wish it lasted longer. Not sure if I just got unlucky with the one they sent me.
