The metal chime bars are made of TreeWorks' exclusive Aluminum/Titanium alloy, comprised of 11 different metals melted together. They are heat treated for 8 hours to create a crystal clear tone, then the bars are polished to a brilliant finish. The unique chromatic-like tuning has been described as ethereal and shimmering. It blends beautifully in all musical settings. This distinctive sound is what made TreeWorks Chimes famous. The mantle, TreeWorks' name for the wooden frame, is crafted from solid Tennessee hardwood. The deep color is brought out with a hand-rubbed oil finish that is high-end, yet understated. Each chime bar is individually hand-tied to the mantle. One-bar-at-a-time. I was looking to add something special to my drum set, since I like to use small percussion I was looking for a Chime, at first I was looking for something small not to overwhelming, while searching throw Amazon I notice the TreeWorks instruments, looking throw them this Chimes caught my attention, I read about them and compare them to another brands, so I decided to buy them just by the fact that they wont use the plastic ties and the quality mention about the metals used in the rods, Now to the product.... WOW!!! just WOW!!! the quality not only for the metal rods and tires, also the wood used is beautiful, the different patterns of color in the wood make it so unique (not machine made), now I installed the chimes in a cymbal stand place it close to my hi hat and I was blast away by the sound, the sound is sustained so perfectly, the way it have an instant impact when stoked but gradually dissipate while I keep playing my drums is unreal. is a must own for any percussionist, also I forgot to mention that it comes in a tube that madi it perfect to travel. definitely I will buy more from TreeWorks specially looking forward to the TreeWorks Chimes EchoTree

As a music educator and also a church music director, I've seen and played many, many instruments. I knew I wanted to purchase a Bar Chime that was expertly made of fine quality, aesthetically pleasing to look at and would have an incredible sound. We are hoping to use it as a calling or gathering signal and also to bring people together in and out of meditation. I was so pleased to see the beautiful wood, the solid metal tubes and that it was made in the USA! Thanks so much.

TreeWorks chimes are well-crafted and they sound great. This is the third TreeWorks product I have purchased (the others being their Cluster Chimes and the muffling bar/mount) and would highly recommend them to anyone considering to purchase a mark tree or other similar product. The way they tune the chimes gives them a little more mysterious, exotic sound than your average mark tree, but not so different that they wouldn't work for just about any situation. The price is more than you'd pay for some other brands, but the quality of craftsmanship and sound make it worth it if you want to get a professional quality instrument.

These chimes are handmade, and excellently crafted. They sound heavenly - not too piercing - and are such a great addition to our band! It came in a very sturdy tube that protected it during shipping, but which will also serve as a road case for each time we travel and need to transport it. Worth every penny for the quality!

I've ordered these over the years for different Churches. The quality is always excellent and the workmanship is outstanding. You can get cheaper ones if you want, but Treeworks is the best. Their motto is "Listen. It matters." And it does.

These chimes have a superb quality sound enhanced by the piece of polished walnut that they are attached to! I've not had them long but they have already been well used.You do need a stand to attach them to but I used a spare cymbal stand and it worked very well.I have no reservations about recommending this product.It's a case of 'you get what you pay for'!

These are absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is superb, and the sound is crystal clear and perfect. I built an adapter to hang them from a mic stand, and they hang exactly straight. Really impressed.

I much prefer the sound and tuning of the gold plated LP chimes I had. LP unfortunately do not make their chimes to last so I was willing to risk another brand.I based my decision to purchase this brand on a positive comment online. They are made well in terms of the wood and strings. The individual bars however are covered with very fine scratches which is very odd and disappointing also. Hope this helps.
