  • HEARD WHEN YOU NEED IT, QUIET WHEN YOU DON'T | As a variation on our large single row bar chime, the TRE630 provides more customization to your set up by providing dampening capabilities. Simply loosen the knobs on both sides of the swing arm to move the dampening rod towards or away from the bars. The dampener features a piece of soft felt that rests against the bars, effectively eliminating any chime sound.

Each TreeWorks Chimes bar chime features a 7/16" hole in the mantle for mounting on cymbal stands or our unrivaled TRE52 chime mount. Unlike other brands, we always source our materials locally and reject the use of plastic ties to secure our bars to our mantles.

TreeWorks Chimes. In the summer of 1996, was created by Mitch McMichen. It began in his garage in Nashville, Tennessee. The first set of chimes was made with a hacksaw and a hand drill. It didn't look like much, but that was the first step to crafting the perfect set of chimes. When asked about the early days of TreeWorks, Mitch replies, "I wasn't trying to start a company. I was trying to find a sound." Since then has grown to become the most respected chimes in the percussion world -- used by top studio and touring drummers and percussionist as well as the top 24 drum corps. These instruments are still handmade in Nashville, Tennessee and are unmatched in craftsmanship and sound quality. (It is of note that Mitch McMichen has earned Gold and Platinum records for his recording work in Nashville.)

Well made chimes and a very nice carrying case. The chimes have a very nice tone and the run length was perfect for many of the choir selections that I played for over the Christmas holidays. Highly recommend!

I bought this set of chimes for use in a pit orchestra and for use with a community band. I have to say I really love the bright, clear tone of these chimes. When compared to an older and less expensive set of chimes, the difference is immediate. I feared that having to settle for the single row chimes based only on budget, would mean a less full sound, but I don't have any worries about that. A double row would certainly be more full, but you won't be disappointed by the quality and sound of the TreeWorks chimes. I would highly recommend them and I will always check their offerings before any of the others.Bob S.

Fantastic product! Beautifully crafted, and damper arm is a great addition - looking forward to getting the mounting arm for it so I can use it properly. Case it comes in is sturdy and protects the chimes well. Well worth the investment

Wonderful angelic tone. Quality of these chimes versus the others is striking! Well worth the price.Case design leaves a little to be desired. It does not hold the chimes at the very top and it's kind of awkward to strap them in... but it does protect them.
