When I first received, the top wouldn't stay on but after warming with a blow dryer got it shaped to fit. Now it works great and the lettuce really stays crisp and last a long time. I think cutting out the core helps.

Finally a heavy duty plastic container that holds a large head of lettuce! One drawback is that the cover is a little hard to remove and put back on. So far, the lettuce stays crisp and lasts a long time.

As you may have seen in other videos or reviews this product is not worth the price. First of all it is made of a high density plastic which makes it almost impossible to get the lid on it. You literally have to start from the side facing you, place the front on then pull it tight to your abdomen and lay on top of it to prevent it from popping off as you move both hands around each side to finish sealing the back. And even then it will occasionally just pop off on its own. The plastic is too stiff and not pliable enough for easy sealing.

When I first received this, the other ratings were correct; the top did not fit well. After running it through the dishwasher, the top fit OK and it has performed well. I've been accustomed to bagged, shredded lettuce lasting two days, at most before developing "rust." With this bowl, I pop the lettuce head core out, flush it with water a couple of times, put the spike in, cover and keep it in the fridge. I've had lettuce heads last a full week, developing slight "rust" while I open it every day to make salads.

I’m so glad I bought this. The lid fits nice and tight and it will keep a head of lettuce fresh for over a week. Yes it will take some room in your fridge because it’s big enough to accommodate a large head of lettuce. Sturdy

This lettuce keeper keeps lettuce fresh for a long time. Much longer than just a few days, but more like over a week. It has a small drain that elevates it, and keeps the moisture away from it, so it doesn't go bad. It's large enough to hold a large head of lettuce, cauliflower or broccoli. I was looking for the green Tupperware lettuce keeper from years ago, but it's price prohibitive now. This little gem is much less expensive. I'm impressed with it. Hope you are too.

The lid doesn’t close! There is no seal hence no freshness retained in the lettuce. A complete waste of money

it is a little larger than expected but it does work really well. The spike stops the lettuce getting soggy but you do have to empty the water out after a couple of days to make the most of it but still the best way we have found so far of keeping lettuce fresh.

This is really good quality, well made, keeps my lettuce fresh but wow is this thing big. Takes up nearly an entire shelf in my fridge. Just bear that in mind if you've not got a gigantic fridge like me. Don't think I've ever seen a lettuce as big that you would need something this size to fit it in.
