The sanding pads are 3-1/8 in size (80 mm) and intended for use with hook and loop sandpaper. They were specially engineered to provide a tight and long-lasting fit with the oscillating multi-tool and also provide secure attachment to the triangle sandpaper. I bought a rockwell multitool about 10 years ago and have always had to replace the sanding triangles due to foam pad breaking down. I had taken to epoxying leather pads on the metal frame. I hate having to constantly replace things I don't think should be a consumable. These last about as long as the epoxy leather pads but with the contouring capacity of foam. Ive used this for everything from Making electric guitars to refinishing wood flooring and everything in between and these last really well. I really like the fact you get 3 of them.

I have a Dremel Multi Max and I decided to try these because I could buy 3 for the same price as 1 Dremel brand head. I tried using one head and within 10 seconds the sanding pad came off. I tried another sanding pad and the same thing happened. Then I went back to my old Dremel head that is badly worn and both sanding pads held for many minutes. The hook and pile (Velcro) on these heads are awful. I highly recommend not buying these. I will spend the extra money for the Dremel heads from now on.

If you do any close finish work, you are going to wear these pads out on the corners. Same as OEM, snaps right onto my DeWalt and Black and Decker cordless sanders, holds discs, keeps me working on refinishing things
