Purchased for my son, who is 2 yrs old almost 3 yrs old and he didn't really wear it nor care to wear it, nothing wrong with it, but I did return it since he didn't play with it.

My daughter thought it was defective but you have to turn on the switch AND push up on the dino's flopping mouth to activate it. I think this is a great design feature because the user can then easily turn it on and off while wearing and then turn it off for good when removed. It's a fun headlamp.
