This 5-pack of 24x36 double-sided foam-core poster board is well made, versatile and a good value. I know they are designed and mostly used for presentations, but, the material they're made from and their unique design makes them useful for other purposes, too.I am using them as part of my watercolor painting process. Thick, heavy, 100% cotton watercolor paper wrinkles and puckers easily when wet so must always be taped or stapled to a substrate during painting to prevent or minimize cockling and this material is perfect for that. The large middle section provides ample space for stapling 3 8-inch square watercolor sheets so that I can paint 3 versions of the same subject using different colors on each in the same painting session. When the first painting is too wet and must be allowed to dry before continuing, I simply move on to the second painting and then onto the third while they each dry in turn so there is no wasted downtime just waiting for things to dry. If I have not completed all three painting in one go and need to take a break, the two outer boards helpfully close over the in-progress paintings, protecting them until I am ready to resume painting again.I love these boards!
