I own an estate sale company and sometimes clients do not want customers to wear their shoes in the home. Customers HATE removing their shoes, and even more having to struggle to put shoe coverings (booties) over their shoes. This device is actually kind of fun and interesting to use. Step into it, step back, and cut. Also great if you have to go outside, then re-enter the home more than once... Just step into again and apply another layer of clean film over the existing layer. The adhesive is good... and maybe too good. You don't want the film coming off by itself, but you DO want it to come off when you're done using it. It does not peel off with great ease, nor in a single piece. It can be stubborn. It is a GREAT alternative to booties, which I will NEVER use again!

Good concept that works well. The plastic always comes off the pad though.

Absolutely awesome piece of equipment!I just bought a house and have all kinds of contractors coming in doing work and/or fixing stuff the builder didn't do right. Unfortunately, very few extend the courtesy to the homeowner of having booties. I did buy booties (on Amazon, actually), but they tend to be too small for work boots or tear. Also, the workers will go in and out with the booties, which kind of defeats the purpose of having any, after all.I noticed this product the first time with my painter. Great guy, told me the name of it and I found it for the most reasonable price on Amazon. Super easy to use, especially when workers go out and come in again, they just "slap on" another layer. Extremely durable and sticky, some might find it hard to remove from their shoes' soles, but that I could not care less, really.Everybody oooh's and aaaah's when they see it and use it, and I could not be happier.

I loved the idea of this product but practical use is useless. The blades to not cut the plastic with ease at all. One has to pull and rip to get the plastic separated. And then the plastic doesn’t adhere correctly on the shoe due to all of the move and pulling.

I usually don't write review, but I am just too disappointed to this product. I bought this unit to use for my open house and really thought it could be easier for the visitor who can't bend down to put on the booties. The concept is great. however, it's easy to put it on, but super hard to remove the film afterward. many visitors had hard time removing the film completely, the residue and the thin plastic membrane just sticks on the bottom of shoes. I had put this unit away to avoid the liability of damaging good shoes. I really suggest the maker to find the quality shoe membrane and improve the user experiences.

Great invention! The heavy-duty film is really difficult to tear and does not seem to be as sticky as the thinner non-heavy duty one. To use, you step your shoes/boot on the plastic film and then lift your foot and pull back and use the serrated cutter to cut by pointing the toe of your shoes down toward the ground. As soon as you do not need to the protective film on your shoes anymore, take it off. The longer you leave the film on, the harder it seems to be to remove it from your shoes.

I'm a realtor and wanted this for my listings, so I purchased two.One agent complained that it took the first layer of his sole from the bottom of his shoe.It definitely don't come off your shoe, like booties do.It gets stuck to itself and it very hard to get set up in between each time you use it.I never opened the second one and because I waited too long, I can't return it. :(

Works as I expected. Saves me the effort of putting on and taking off the blue booties. The only thing I don't like and it's very minor is the plastic can be difficult to remove from the boot and it sometimes leaves a little glue residue. All things considered it's worth the money in my opinion.

Great product, only issue is the film folds over and sticking to itself. Not a big deal but some rolls can get wasted.

I see some other reviews indicate the adhesive was good, but in our case, whatever came "out of the box", the adhesive was useless. It did not stick to the bottom of shoes,. It simply slid right off the bottom of standard sneakers. Maybe the intent is we're supposed buy "better" adhesive film than what they ship with, but then why send any film at all if the expectation is to up-charge and make money on the refills? Garbage.
