The item looks the same as the Black and Decker and fits spool and trimmer however the edges do NOT snap in even though they have the same look as original part. The cover falls off when you start to weed eat due to part not snapping in successfully or properly.

Ordered to have on hand but does not fit the GH3000 B&D trimmer. Arms will not snap in, too short.

I should have read the reviews and saved my time.. Package contained 2 USED cap and 2 new ones. They CANNOT fit my black n decker trimmer because the locking tabs are too short.. If they cannot lock then it will fall off as soon as you start the trimmer.. Amazon also have to figure a way that 0 star is acceptable because that what this product deserves..

The part is supposed to fit the Black and Decker RH3000 and it does fit in the unit however the edges do NOT snap in even though they have the same look as original part. The cover falls off when you start to weed eat due to part not snapping in successfully (only one side will clip in. When you push the other side down it will either not stay in place or it will dislodge the opposite side)

Was unable to get the tabs on the cover to engage the slots on the drive base. Honestly not sure why. Tried everything to get the cover to snap on, with and without the spool. Not sure exactly where the issue is, design might be slightly different, Returned for credit.

The heads do not fit model #GH3000. The tabs are to short to make a secure connection. The sides don't lock-in. Oh well.
