This "stone bag" is made of heavy duty material, and is divided into three equal compartments. I suppose you could put stones in the compartments to give your tripod more stability, but I use it to store items I need for my whiteboard, such as dry erase markers, eraser, and magnets. The bag has three heavy duty velcro straps to attach it to the three legs of a tripod. It works well for my purposes, and seems like it will hold up over time. I recommend it.

With a center column tripod, I have usually clipped a water bottle to the bottom of the column. This tripod weight bag doesn't need a center column, and since it spreads the weight to all 3 legs, it keeps the center of gravity low and stable. This works perfectly with the rapid ranger style of tripod (also from Amazon) which has no center column, as pictured. I was able to fit 3 bottles of water in the XAMOREST bag, and the heavy velcro straps hold fast. The cloth, stitching and binding are worthy of a high end backpack. This well designed piece of gear even has stabilizing dividers and a drain grommet, if you are shooting in the rain (or your water bottle leaks).

There's a lot that I like about the XAMOREST tripod bag. It's fairly lightweight and simple construction. It adds a full bag/shelf to any standard tripod, with built-in dividers to split it into 3 areas, along with a central drain hole in case any water makes its way into it. For weight purposes though, this also means it can't hold loose dirt, sand, and/or small rocks as weight, so just something to keep in mind. Anyways, the bag attaches easily to your tripod via 3 velcro straps. It did frequently like to slide around though, so unless the bag is drawn taught, you'll have to secure it just above the locking knobs or tabs on your tripod legs. Nonetheless, the added functionality is quite nice, especially as a photographer as you can put some key items there instead of always fishing them in and out of your backpack.

I really like this weight bag for my main wildlife shooting tripod. With the big lens attached to a gimbal, my tripod often needs a little more stability, and a good weight bag will certainly add some stability, and I find it very useful in windy conditions. The weight bag itself is divided into three sections. I like the separation which keeps gear from all settling to the middle of the bag. I can put rocks or other weights in two of the sections, and keep filters, batteries, lens cloth, etc. in the remaining section. This makes for both a weight bag and an accessories tray of sorts.I have several tripods and this weight bag will work with all of them, But I'm especially looking forward to using this with my big Leofoto carbon fiber tripod with my big lens gimbal attached. It's all camo for wildlife photography/video, so this will blend in well while helping keep my tripod rock steady. I'm not normally a camo kind of guy, but for wildlife work, it makes a lot of sense.

I have enjoyed using this for it's double-duty. By adding plain weight to this it does make the tripod more stable and less prone to being knocked over (which I've unfortunately done more than I care to admit). But I have really enjoyed being able to use this to conveniently put stuff in while I'm shooting. My phone, drinks, extra equipment - it all goes in here so I don't have to rummage around in bags, just reach down and grab what I need easily. Also, it has the versatility to be set up mid-way or low on my tripod, so if I need the extra stability, I will set it low, otherwise it holds my stuff in the middle of the tripod within arms reach. This is an addition I will keep in my setup forever now.

I love this. It's super handy in the field or whenever I am using a long, heavy lens. It's easy to add weight and the different sections are very helpful - I can use one or two for weight and the other for lens cap, cords, and accessories. The velcro makes it easy to attach and detach. Nice, well thought out product and a great value.

Was able to fit all my tripod, even the Smallrig AD-100 Freeblazer which has skinnier split legs. Nice and convenient to hold stuff and the velcro they have is strong and sturdy. It can hold things comfortably such as lenses, phones for streaming or just snacks and water bottles. I like that it is pliable enough to easily fold up when you collapse your legs in to move stuff.

Well made tripod weight/storage bag that fits well on tripods with 40mm diameter legs. The compartments are useful to keep parts/equipment separated. Not much to say, it does it's job.
