Product Description

Polypropylene Bin Wall Hangers 8-3/4 In. L x 3-1/4 In. W x 1/4 In. H with Hardware, 2 Pack

From the Manufacturer

Wall mount rail system provides a cost effective solution for hanging bins on any flat wall surface. No more need for expensive steel louvered panels. When used with LocBin products you can create a large bin system by first interlocking the bins together and then mounting the top bins across the wall rail system.

Considering the low cost, this 2-piece wall hanger is a pretty good option. It's easy to install (I stacked them and used my own wood screws to mount to my plywood work bench), it's holding bins with a few lbs. of load pretty well, and removing and rehanging the bins on the hanger is easy. I would have preferred metal over plastic hanger material, but for the low cost it's worth the risk.

Well, I had a brilliant idea to mount some bins to the front-facing 2x4s of my reloading bench in order to keep bullets within easier reach when I'm reloading.Anyway, I looked on Amazon and decided to go with these instead of the normal mount strips that come with most 6-packs of plastic bins at home improvement stores. The reason for my thinking was that these looked a lot more solid for holding a bin full of bullets - which is obviously fairly heavy. These mount strips are made of rugged plastic and installed very easily. All the required mounting hardware is included - so it only took a few minutes, a level, and a cordless drill to get the job done. So, why am I only giving them 3 stars? The problem is actually a design issue. These mounts are 3 1/8" tall (perfect, by the way, for the front face of a 2x4). The mount holes are 1 1/4" from the top edge - which is just too far away to keep the whole bracket from pulling away from the wall when a lot of weight is in the bin. Hopefully this will always just be an irritating cosmetic issue; but, it's likely that the brackets will eventually break due to too much flex and stress. If you buy a 6-pack of plastic bins at the local home improvement store, they will cost about the same as these brackets and will come with a couple of their own mount strips included. Those brackets are only 3/4" tall with the mount holes being positioned 1/2" from the top. Even though the mounts are far more flimsy than these - they still flex less because the mount holes are in the correct position.I hope that makes sense.Personally, I'll probably end up correcting the issue by just drilling new mount holes near the top of these strips; but, at this price, that issue should have been thought of and resolved.

Keeps items where I want them to stay. Strong enough to stay put.

Does not hold up bins. They keep falling off the holder. Not very efficient.
